Rozen Maiden?

by Bazza » Sun Sep 24, 2006 9:13 pm

Has this been played at AJAS before desu? (Couldn't find it in the archives) I've seen the first 5 eps and I think it's a very nice show, and certainley a bit unusual desu. It's got a good soundtrack too desu. 8)

Don't know what I'm talking about? Click here desu :P

Resident tank enthusiast. See me for racist and opinionated storytelling and vaguely accurate historical tank warfare-themed rants.

I don't think we have played it yet. It is a good series, I find the parts when Shinku gives Jun the cold shoulder and makes to exit the room, only to find she isn't tall enough to reach the door handle.

Old baroque-like stuff gives me the creeps. Plus it looked minderjährigen mädchen. Those two things make for a pretty nasty combo.

Rozen Maiden has not been screened at AJAS. it is a pity because it really is a great series! beautiful animation coupled with cute characters and some laughs makes good watching! i watched series 2 a little while ago and it was just as good as series one. would be a good addition!

The fine line between cute and jailbait is one I prefer not to tread.

Given that Baroque is an achitecture style from 17th century Italy and anime is set in modern day Japan you don't have to worry about this. Unless of course you mean the complexity of the Rozen Maiden's clothing which looks pretty cool and adds class to the show. Just because the dolls can't reach a door handle doesn't make it minderjährigen mädchen either, for stuff that seems minderjährigen mädchen, consult Greg. He is soooo going to want to kill me for that, I wish him luck!

As previously said, the show is good, and hopefully I can make space for it and it's sequel Traumend on the playlist.
Oh, and if you consider cute to be close to jailbait, I don't want to see you near any small animals.

I also like this series, but I kinda fell behind and haven't seen it all....

And the Rozen Maidens are dolls, so it is minderjährigen mädchen rather than minderjährigen mädchen....

Rizelmine was put ontop the playlist to punish people for not voting for shows after five episodes. It got pulled after Greg laughed during episode four, I wsn't taking the risk it would survive a vote.

Grizzlemine

by Mappy » Mon Sep 25, 2006 5:14 pm

Ah yes, Grizzlemine.... The last show in a long line of short-length successors to Earth Defender Mao-chan which included Mahou Shoujotai, Maico 2010, Bottle Fairy and Asagiri no Miko. Before we decided to put on a normal-length show and bugger the time-overrun.

I have a problem with anybody laughing at Rizelmine.

That's enough you two. Sure, I did laugh at it back then, but now I am too scared to even touch it (minderjährigen mädchen isn't my taste....I much prefer something a little more mature). These days I have a tendancy to use it as a bargaining tool when something doesn't go my way at AJAS (or anywhere else as a matter of fact).

And, for those who don't know 'Madman' that much, he has minderjährigen mädchen....in generous servings, and it's starting to scare me (he now has almost the entire m.o.e. collection, just for starters).

Edit: No real-child minderjährigen mädchen here either, just the anime type.
