Supernatural "hard-boiled science-fiction action" from Xebec, Noein head writer

"The North American distributor FUNimation Entertainment has announced today that it has acquired the RIN ~Daughters of Mnemosyne~ "hard-boiled science-fiction action" television anime series. Director Shigeru Ueda (Elemental Gelade, Tales of Symphonia), screenwriter Hiroshi Ohnogi (Noein, second Fullmetal Alchemist television anime, Aquarion), and the animators at Xebec (Martian Successor Nadesico, Fafner, Heroic Age) created this series about a seemingly ordinary office lady named Rin who is secretly a private investigator with near indestructability, due to supernatural powers. She works with her partner Mimi to solve bizarre mysteries in and around Tokyo.

The six-episode video series was released in Japan last year."

...and we took this series off the playlist for being too explicit. Mind you, who wants to take bets as to whether or not I get picked up by the feds? (sexual violence usually is RC in this country)

I have a .mp3 of Mimi moaning in ecstasy. :)

The show had both the Rie's in it and weird sex. How could it not be awesome?

Also I can't imagine it would be terribly economical for you to boat it over here given the current exchange rate?

Resident tank enthusiast. See me for racist and opinionated storytelling and vaguely accurate historical tank warfare-themed rants.

*shrug*
Watched it. Incoherent clusterphoaque plot sold on extreme sexual violence angle alone. Not all that interested in ever buying it.
Probably sell like hotcakes. And be censored.
