Laugh and Beats is a mistranslation of the name of the group. It is actually Laugh and Peace. They actually have a website: http://www.big.or.jp/~hirotaco/kyo-ki/ but, unsurprisingly, it is in Japanese.

Really bad, sometimes, especially in the right ear. I didn't know it was an actual condition (I'd spent most of my years thinking that silence sounded like a high-pitched tone) until I saw a tv piece about it involving an Aus musician who moved to a remote beach location to get away from causative background noise. It is one of the reasons I have trouble hearing what people say when there is a lot of background noise.... it all starts to sound like a ringing buzz after a while.

Thanks, will add that to the list of songs to consider, at this stage we have two top contenders, Alice Cooper's You and Me and Madness's it must be love for the dance, but have to try boost the list a bit more so we would have more choices.
Tommy, loved labyrinth too, but is it me or did the song "dance magic" sound different on cd compared to the movie version? Because it sounded alot different to me, esp Chilly Down which has more of a 50's dwoop dwoop beat (again to me) on the cd
Listening to... Pachelbel's Canon D (arr Munchinger) -hey woke up not long ago, so classical music for now lol.
Wikipedia - Magic Dance wrote:The song appears in different forms in the film and on the soundtrack. True, the APC version is very dark and chilling, just like their version of Elvis Costello's 'Peace, Love, and Understanding'
so awesome!
