in other news just like the last two weeks and the election debate, this weeks meeting will also feature the worm... Like what you see, stay and the worm will go higher...... Don't like what you see, then leave and the worm will drop!

I think he's referring to Soukou no Strain and Seirei no Moribito going to the vote at the meeting after this.

There isn't much point watching television. They're just boxes that sit in the corner of the room. They aren't suddenly going to leap up and maul you, so you can safely walk away and not be worried about them. What use they have, I'm not sure.... it has been so long since I've gone near one that I've forgotten their actual purpose.... Maybe we should hang one up in the middle of the room and use it as a pinata....

For those that don't know the worm is referring to an image that was produced on the election debate.

Now i never watched it, but i have seen snippets of it and heard all the latest comedy gags for the election with the worm being the biggest of them.

During the debate, the audience at the debate were all given a remote, if they liked what they see/hear then they would press the good button and the line graph would raise, and in the opposite, if the audience member pressed the bad button the graph would drop, thus the line graph raising and falling had been referred to as a worm.

There are only two shows worth watching on TV now. Both of those are on SBS. One is American and one is British. 8)

Meh, Jayden's banter and Alexis's proportions make it watchable. Besides, this !@#!#! PC that can't play !!##! mkvs without a minimum of a 5 second delay makes it !#!!#!$!$ impossible to watch anything recent. So, that's kind of my only option atm.

No. Mappy quoted it correctly from Star Wars - Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back from the scene where Luke can't stop his ship from sinking, fails to get it out of the swamp then Yoda does it with ease.

Luke: I can't believe it
Yoda: That...is why you fail...

It was only something that was written into the character in Return of the Jedi. During The Empire Strikes Back most of his sentences were spoken normally. It is a manifestation of retconning.

Damn you rich people and your plasma TV'ses. I have to watch my anime on a 15 inch HP monitor that predates the millennium bug by several years. :x

At least it's proving to be a reliable monitor, if nothing else.

Well, I probably *could* afford one if I didn't continuously spend all of my money on my girlfreind.

That's why I went out and bought myself a 22 inch WS monitor for my computer. Sure beats the hell out of what I had before (17 inch 4:3).
