Playlist - 11th September 2007

by Dhumahn » Wed Sep 05, 2007 9:11 am

I can't believe that Ryan didn't check the contents of Afro Samurai before playing it. Obviously he didn't learn from the Gantz episode.

As for this week, please do not insite terrorism.

This week's playlist is as follows:

Claymore 8
Lucky Star 11
Hayate no Gotoku 3
Pumpkin Scissors 14
Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge 3
Code Geass 19
Death Note 22
Utawarerumono 20

...enjoy!!

yeah, that's because barron was th only one with a copy, as i recall. no idea why he didn't say anything, though.
not that i had anything against the random hallway sex in gantz, which was rather unexpected but hilarious. especially considering people's responses

I just can't like these bishounen. I didn't mind Ouran because the blokes at least sort of still looked like guys. But, with that said, I fear voting it off may have horrific consequences.

...Can we play iDOLM@STER Xenoglossia? Please?

Voting off a show isn't all that bad. So long as you have something good to replace it.

Umm.... either you've haven't been watching much TV/movies or something else is wrong. The scene is similar to a French/American movie when people have sex and it isn't as bad as the second intro of one other series your playing right now.

Refresh your memory, which is worse? Afro Samurai lame sex scene (Which is just as bad as any other American movie *cough* TERMINATOR *cough* you've watch) or this series' second OP?

Ok for those who care to missed my late post here is the second intro of a certain series that AJAS is playing now.

Ouran? Fine.
Jun? Fine too.
Trap-kun? Do want.

Nadeshiko? No. I just can't love the art style. I've nothing against pretty boys, fyi, since I do live with one.

I say Red Garden, we need some freaking intensity that doesn't go softcore like Death Note is about to or isn't ultra-pretty like Code Geass. And we already have enough fluff on the list (ie. everything else).

So yeah, Red Garden.

I second this notion. It can't be any worse then Loveless.

That opening is tame... Guess you haven't seen many Shoujo shows, they are pretty much all like that.

My suggestion of a replacement is Nodame Cantabile.

Just saying that if they view the 'what I did with the girl last night' scene bad in a American MA rated show Afro Samurai which features 2 animated characters when you have a movie Matrix Reloaded which has the scene going for 1/2 hr which is also MA rated, then this opening is just as bad in a sense. For some odd reason everyone reeling in horror when 2 ppl are doing it but there are much much worse stuff especially in Nodame Cantabile that should be R rated XD.

I like the series but it's on the long lines of NANA since the art style is not mainstream (e.g moe) like the rest of the play-list. Like Bazza said "you either like it or hate it just on the way its drawn". If you can get over it, its just as good as Ouran Host Club but more faggy.
