by Dhumahn » Tue Nov 03, 2009 11:16 pm

This week's playlist will be as follows:

K-ON! 12
Birdy The Mighty Decode 5 (vote)
Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 5 (vote)
Kimi No Todoke 2 (put up with it for 5 episodes, and you can put up with anything!!!!)
Hetalia Axis Powers 11
Higepiyo 11
Canaan 10
Spice And Wolf 2 5 (vote)
Umineko No Naku Koro Ni 12

...enjoy

Also, there's a little something I'd like to do before the playlist starts, it's not much, but it is important....

Since it was the true winner of the previous vote, you should just put Juntou Romantica on.
Although I don’t know about the directions at 4:51.
It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.

The Cutie Honey OVA from 1994 was better.

It's one of those shows where Mappy is more entertaining than the screen for sure.

Well, after the premature decision AJAS made with Michiko e Hatchin after 1 episode, I think it might be worth waiting a little longer before passing full judgement.

In the meantime...

The original manga is one of the greatest works in the horror genre ever made.

I got an idea

Just watch the first episode of Pinker than Moe II (Darker than Black II)
The best part is at the end when you get to see Hamburger-kun.
Best character in all Darker than Black Series, even though his showtime is short.

For a comparison point on playlists, this is what the club in Perth played last week:

Soul Eater ep 42
Seto no Hayanome ep 11
Clannad After Story ep 6
Sengoku Basara ep 2
Genshiken 2 ep 3
Macross Frontier ep 2
Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan ep 4

Wow, I gave you a mech and pseudo-mech OP and you picked that one. It was funny though. Apparently that Perth club demands their romcoms on a regular basis as well as their shounen.

Frontier is some of Yoko Kanno's blandest work. Dokuro-chan has long been a (not so) guilty pleasure of mine.

Yes, Dokuro-chan did go down well when we played it...5 years ago. I was more surprised you didn't try to do the Genshiken 2 OP, hehe.
