Goddamn it, Juntou Romantica won the first vote count!
Although I don’t know about the directions at 4:51.
It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.

Looks like I missed out on some interesting first episodes....

Am I the only one who thinks the entire plot for Umineko no Naku Koro Ni is a giant cliché?

In a 07th Expansion story? Egads, are we going to have philosophy in a Nasu story next?

I've already seen it and didn't find it that unusual. But then my tafe class is a complete sausage fest so I'm used to that sort of male bonding. :)

The vote failed because of the mistake of revealing file sizes, types and ages to people, beforehand. Everyone worked out what was what by that. After all, how did you know that choice number 2 was Junjou Romantica before the vote was taken? You weren't supposed to know. You were supposed to make a choice in the dark. Ergo, the vote was a big ball of fail.

cause we wanted it to fail obviously if you say "one is based on a yaoi" majority of male audience members would do anything not to choose it...

When one of the people running the vote says right when votes are about to be taken to 'not vote for #2', that's kind of a giveaway.

That's not the only reason it failed.

Ryan said that AFTER votes had already been taken and then new votes were taken.
It was akin to the Baccano vote debacle all over again.

As I said, the other two are still in the running. Canaan will probably replace Ga-Rei Zero. And as for JR.... Nodame has to finish sometime.

Well, if you wanted to tie in a replacement, Aoi Hana could work. Same director and studio that Nodame Cantabile had. Been very pleasantly surprised by this series, probably would put it in my top 5 favourite series ever.

Furthermore, yuri > yaoi. Enough said.

*post coming from Melbourne....*

Ok, for those who were at the meeting for that vote, the file sizes etc weren't meant to be shown, that was just a fail on my part.

There IS a good possibility both shows will still be played, however when is anybody's guess

I'm also surprised there has been no talk about this week's playlist...

....and.....I've spent WAY too much again at manifest again.... :P

or IN JAPAN AT COMIKET!! :D

(I've been advised that you need at least $10,000 in spending money, just to be safe at a place like that)

Picked up a nice couple of items across the weekend.....1st item I'll reveal on my purchase list is a 12-inch A.D. Police "silver plate with a hole in it", unopened too. Will certainly be framing this one :D

True, but a shipping container will be searched by the border patrol, so it's not really THAT good of an idea.

Australian Customs Officers have been known to make you repack your belongings after their search, usually with you having to gather them up from all over a port.
