Replacing Ouran: A trap for a trap.

by Bazza » Wed Jul 25, 2007 9:49 am

With Ouran High Schoiol Host Club ending soon I feel the need to suggest Trap-kun's anime as a suitable replacement. Those with a disdain for Ouran now will still keep their outside time while the people who are comfortable with their sexuality can continue to enjoy fine gender-bending animation. 8)

That looks like a train wreck in the same way Godannar was. Hilarious, but horrible. :P

I thought it was going to be replaced by more handlungen einer schwuchtel:
Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge or Nodame Cantabile

I would like to see Nodame make it to the playlist.

It's all part of saving the planet. Reduce, re-use, reanimate.
Mel Gibson's remake of The Life of Brian is nowhere near as funny as the original.

There are four autonomic responses, and they all start with F. Fright, fight, flight and making love. -Dr Karl

Why? They aren't doing any harm. Give me a reasonable reason to stop and I will. :)

No you don't, there was never a reason to care. ;)

Besides, that wasn't a trap series, Kanon was. I daresay Bazza and co. would love that on the playlist.

I'd rather Mizuho-kun make an appearance. 8)

New Negima actually is much more better than old Negima. I love Shindo's hand in Negima.

Because it's as fresh as mayonnaise left in the sun for two weeks? That's a pretty good reason to stop.

New Negima annoys the hell out of me.... They replaced visuals for any vague concept of character. The complete opposite of the original effort, which had character but looked utterly shite. And both have no plot of any worthwhile description. Characters with potential are, generally, wasted in both.

Opinion, of course.

Of course.

I mean, wtf is with Asuna's eye's in the second one? Same colour ftl.

I actually don't mind the artwork in the first one. Groundbreaking it isn't, but there is much worse out there. Also, when I want to watch Pani Poni Dash, I'll watch Pani Poni Dash. 8)

The Soul Taker is where the director started with the visual look of his shows. So you can blame that for everything he's done since.

There is something about the shade effects and the tendency to wide-screen scenes (when ordinary close-up shots would suffice) that annoy me. It makes the shows look stagey, not to mention underpopulated, as miscellaneous background crowds don't exist, apparently. Tsukuyomi managed to make Tokyo look like it had a resident population of six.
