Live Action Night Playlist (Revised)

by asurin » Wed Jan 03, 2007 10:33 pm

Here is the playlist I am proposing for Live Action Night (Revised).

(OPTION A)
Gokusen -episode 1
Gokusen -episode 2
You're Under Arrest -episode 1
You're Under Arrest -episode 2

Total running time should come to 3 hours and 15 mins.

(OPTION B)
Hinokio (Movie)
Gokusen -episode 2*
You're under Arrest -episode 1

Total running Time = 3 hours and 15 mins

(OPTION C) - Recomended
Gokusen 2*
You're under arrest 1
Jigoku Shoujo 1
GTO 1

Total running Time = 3 hours (And I have 15mins of filler if need be).

* Yes episode 2 is funnier.

OPTION D:

1. Make our own Black Lagoon Live Action (as mentioned in your sig). Ryan can be that maid thing.
2. ???
3. PROFIT!

I think the result of this night is a universal NO to this happening again.

Aww c'mon Ryan , ... you may never know just how fun it could be having a room full of Aussies laughing away at the bad Engrish .

For the whole AJAS time ....
I must feel proud about the things I choose ...,

Be it Ero-games , doujinshi , or clothes ; its all the SAME !

The YUA was not nearly as bad as the others. And you have to love that thorpe cameo, I mean it was Ian Thorpe in a live action anime series how goods that :D

But the others very very cheesy

I've watched both of the YUA anime series, the "no mercy" special and the movie. I couldn't believe how badly they'd turned it into a live action series. Characters idiosyncrasies were totally mutilated along with their relationships with each other.

I present the You're Under Arrest live action series the Cropwell Bishop Stilton Award for the biggest pile of cheese to bless an AJAS screening in quite a while. Gokusen wins the Dolce Gorgonzola whilst Jigoku Shoujo gets the Limberger.

The missing GTO allowed us to play Genshiken 13 and Freedom 1. Depending on your point of view, this was a good or a bad thing. 8)

Was that YUA mad by TV Asahi?
If it was it was likely it was during his trip for the 2001 World Aquatics Championships.

BTW does anyone want to update his wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Thorpe :D
I think this should be known to the world! Am I mean or what? :innocent:

I don't have an account at Wikipedia but I do think that this is a good idea. Hopefully if we let the world know of the existence of bad cameo appearance we can stop them from happening ever again.

The show aired in 2003, so it is possible that that might have been when it was filmed. But Ian Thorpe was, at that time, the biggest foreign sports star in Japan, so it might have been one of his many promotional trips over there (he made ads for Japanese tv, I believe).
