/r/ scans of the aforementioned KnJ fanbook.

Also because I am a student I cannot afford luxuries such as plastics and fabrics thus I have nothing to share currently.

uuh, ok since May 14th (your first post in this thread, about 4 weeks ago) you spent about $358.

GarryGod spent $119 on the first page of this thread, bringing his total to $352, and that's without the Black Lagoon artbook, one of the Clannad artbooks, the Bleach figurine and the Asa Shigure (green-haired figurine), as prices were not posted.

Then again, you may not want to know exactly how much you have been spending lately

Another delivery today... I guess i have not been posting much on my deliveries compared to some other members here... The Deliveries was for Xbox 360 J-NTSC games..

for those of you i have failed to update (most of ya), I have in my possession a second X-box 360, the first is my PAL console and the other is my J-NTSC console. The J-NTSC gives me access to exclusive titles such as Chaos Head and hence my need for it. Currently i have 7 exclusive to Japan anime games (i have a few more NTSC titles that are not anime), though some i have little understanding. Current titles in my collection:

Chaos Head: Arrived today!
Chaos Head 2: Arrived today!
Otomedius Gorgeous: Arrived yesterday!
Idolmaster: Known to some as Xenoglossia, hit phenomenon in Japan. Train girls to become a huge idol.... difficult to understand but without knowing Japanese a few hours will get some nice results...
Idolmaster live for you: sequel, beat game, no knowledge of Japanese needed, game is simple to understand and master! completely different from original's play style!
Dream C Club: A must have for Greg or Gary, and of course me.... dating sim, well i don't understand the story line or get a good ending.... but it's damn easy to get girls drunk... yes drunk.... lets see this one get an R18+
Clannad: huge dating sim, pretty but not worth the current price tag of $80 unless you can understand Japanese in which case completing all the story lines would take over 24 hours continuously to read and follow

another area i am looking at is Dreamcast, where as Xbox 360 games cost $40-100 for most titles, dreamcast's anime exclusives are cheap on ebay for $10-$40 and infact some of the games being released now on DS/PSP/PS2/Xbox 360 are just rereleases of Dreamcast games.

I just received a collectors edition comic party box set brand new for $40 for dreamcast.... score :respect:

Incorrect. Idolm@ster: Xenoglossia is the 2007 animated series by the Mai-Hime team that places the cast of the Idolm@ster games in a sci-fi setting.

If you can read all of Clannad that quickly without skipping anything at any time, I have a whole new level of respect for you.

No, I'm not plugging in the cables. Those are the real indicator of this kit's age. Where's my MG, Bandai? On the subject of MGs, looks like it's just about time I built this fella.

I need some more black paint though.

I'm not assuming EVERYTHING you buy is a trap, but if you're buying PINK shorts, and you say that they probably WON'T FIT....might mean you'll at least try them on

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/
http://www.amiami.jp/shop?set=english

the two best sites i know so far if your interested in gunpla i suggest hlj.com but i am sure you'r not interested...
if you want anything and wanna save on shipping i suggest you ask me what you want and i will see if i can organise it with my order it will save you on shipping...

Thanks Garry, theres a Nessa figure i so totally must have. Hopefully I can add it to your next haul.

Also the amiami site is much easier to navigate than 1999.co.jp which i knew already so thanks for that.

Heres the nessa figure Im talking about in case you were interested

Both sites offer good service. I do the majority of my orders through 1999 and have never had any issues with them or AmiAmi. I've also done business via the Goodsmile website which does have an English version. 1999 and AmiAmi purchasing is probably best done with Paypal, so setting up an account would be best before taking the plunge. Post tracking services are linked once shipments are sent off and are more reliable than Australia Post's system. Only downside is when some figures come available, you need to be VERY quick to confirm you want it. The first to the post to confirm they will buy it come availability are the ones who get them.

Only other thing is when a figure of someone comes out, check the company and other versiosn done of that character if others exist. No point blowing money on an inferior version.

Yeah I noticed figures go out of stock pretty quick, well good figures anyway. I searched and searched for a certain Yui Hirasawa figure i wanted and they are all gone. Also it seems not every character gets the AAA figure treatment. I really want a good Holo (Spice & Wolf) but the ones made (the ones i could find anyway) were not so good.

also might i add that 1999 has a point usage system the more you shop the more points you gain then when you make a somewhat grandios order... you can use your points to lower the price...

The points are generated from the cost of the figure itself in a somewhat proportional way. Shipping costs don't generate points. 1 point = 1 yen and they last for 1 year from the date of purchase. I'll have to spend the ones I've accumulated soon.

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10068505 by Kotobikuya came up for re-release pre-orders this week.

Goodsmile and Volks versions can be found on eBay but are well overpriced. The Kotobikuya version was getting flogged well over its real value as well, so if you're keen to get one without blowing your budget, that linked one could work for you.

Pardon me guys sorry for that I meant Garry. You must already know this by now but I tend to spaz when I see stuff like that this leads to typos and all sorts of errors, hehe.

So Garry "its not like I want you to order the figure or anything... I just think it would look really good on my shelf"

please add to your next Orders :)

Although she has been placed in a very sexy outfit and in a very daring pose, Tsumugi sticks true to her character without a worry in the world, and a gentle smile across her face. Ui version with moeblob chibi form of Yui as companion is also on pre-order. It's quite hard to resist - I almost want it.

I got one of them too.
It's great, comes with alternate face and alternate legs so you can pose her in a swimsuit.

I don't get to post too often in this thread, but a combination of paypackets, birthday money and HobbyLinkJapan's sale(s) has led me to acquire some goodies :D

Image

Bought locally but still related:
CD: Guitar Wolf's latest album, bought from their gig. The audience was a combo of goths, punks, nerds and was definitely a night of LOCK AND LOLLL!!!! 8)
Magazine: My favourite magazine Drift Battle seems to have been resurrected! :wow:

Sengoku Basara stuff:
Some kind of dangly wooden keyring or something: featuring Yukimura Sanada from the Sengoku Basara games and TV show.
Revoltech: Motonari Mori, from Sengoku Basara.
Revoltech: Limited edition white version of Yukimura Sanada from the Sengoku Basara.

1:24 scale Model Car Kits:
Toyota JZX100 Chaser styled by Vertex and comes with itasha decals featuring the Umineko games and show.
Toyota AE86 Levin Corolla from Initial D. It's not the famous 86, but another character from the series. It was cheap, plus the body shape is like the one we got here in Australia, and I liked the wheels~
1966 Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia Coupe. Classic lines and style :p
Toyota Aristo V300, again styled by Vertex and packed with 07th Expansion decals. This one features Higurashi graphics from both the VN and show, we can all laugh at the game's wacky art :P

HLJ couldn't fit all of my order in this box so I have another model car coming in a few days too :D
I'm the Moustache Maaaaaan!
