The first series went stale pretty damn fast. Once you got past the initial joke of Dokuro killing the main protagonist with Excaliborg, then bringing him back to life, there really wasn't a lot else....

ooh i can't wait for this... I loved the first series and definately the seecond shall be great, hopefully not as short this time!

as for a lot else, well there was a story line, of course some of it which doesn't make sense, but it is good anyways!

(Next they'll be telling me ikki tousen has no story line)

You can stop now. Ikkitousen has no storyline, it just steals Romance of Three Kingdom's storyline and mangles it until nobody can recognise it.

I'm twisted and warped enough to see though most plot murders. That and the character names are the same and it's the only place where you'll come across the same combination of names.

you are both quite wrong. ikki tousen DID in fact have a storyline, however disjointed it may have been. im surprised you cant see it. maybe you should watch it again. if there was no storyline, it would have been a random set of scenes with no link, and this obviously was not the case.

I haven't watched it yet... I was just bored and quoted Mappy. Then it got out of hand.

Well, yes, I suppose they had to link the fanservice together, somehow. Otherwise it would just be random scenes of fanservice, and nobody would ever watch that, would they? 8)

I thought Ikkitousen is an excuse to have girls showing off panties and their boobs? With martial arts as excuse.

Notice how Madman seemed to be only one who cared that Ikkitousen has a story line ?

One normally wouldn't attempt to defend any aspect of Ikkitousen by citing its storyline. Most would just admit to watching it because it has fanservice and be done with it. I guess the girls in Ikkitousen are too old for Madman.

Well, they have the same amount of storyline.
