I mean the early seasons. I was laughing non stop when watching 1st season when the hero is still a young punk. But after 1st season, the show derailed out of control.

Considering they put a stop when planet devouring bosses was the limit ... imagine if they went the next level .

That just makes it sound as if Dragonball was trying to attain Cthulu mythos status. I can just imagine Yog Sothoth staring at his bubbly watch whilst waiting for whichever descendant of Son Goku to finish powering up....
