When They Cry - Seagulls style

The saga continues....but with different people and a different location. Figures an island would play host to something like this.

hmmm not bad for first episode OP was dark and mysterious just like its predecessor higurashi very well explained for 1 episode some character's start of well but the main character's meeting with his cousin is gold... "wow cousin can i squeeze them they sure have grown over the past 7 years" WACK!!! and the adult character's were done pretty tough as nail's to the point of bitter argument's of the family emblem... and that little lol! character making that "ooo" noise so much gave me a headache so glad her mom thought the same thing as me and smacked the black off her TWICE!!! but i think my opinion has changed that and the fact there really is a little amount of good anime out this july

well umineko is finally finished after a much epic battle battler has come out on top but is this the end of beatrice?
well from what i can spoil...
no she is much more in the game as we hoped after duking it out with blood to the gallones his arrows of true ripped her body to breaking point but at the tipping point battler could'nt finish the last riddle ending the show with the biggest cliffhanger since eden of east in my opinion...
btw damn those lambadelta and other blue haired chick that silly extra after the credits did nothing for me...

Enjoy you lack of ending and second season.
Although I don’t know about the directions at 4:51.
It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.

Indeed, Umineko has done so badly in dvd sales that it is likely we will never see Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru animated.

would that be because of competitive sales with other animes that are also on sale like that trash heap of a bakemonogatari and etc.
i am sure we will see something in the future i mean if its not the anime fans its the fans of the game as well would love to see it animated personally i hav'nt tried the game my lack of respect for all visual novels puts me at a disadvantage...

Except that the fans of the source material have loathed the adaptation. The stock response to threads about it in the community was "is this a gag anime?". Poor DVD sales for a series that has no manga volumes or model kits to sell will most certainly not receive further funding. The show got XEBEC'd.

Bakemonogatari, Darker Than Black and K-ON are all they value from the last 12 months.

Intentionally being crass on production, intentionally being crass on story and being intentionally crass on characters.

So being crass is the only way to make money in this industry. Artisitc merit, effort and originality mean nothing anymore.

Lamentable.

Darker Than Black II was actually not bad, though. Well, the ending was kinda dodgy.... but....

Season 1 has such a large quantity of fail in it that anything good is smothered.

DTB S1 - An action series without action. I fell asleep during an episode. Plus the blatant C.C. ripoff was insulting.

The real problem with DTB is that they really can't make up their mind the kind of series they're trying to make. It is either an action series, in which they failed, or it is a sci-fi conspiracy series with headfucky elements, in which case they also failed because to succeed at this actually requires some idea, as writers, as to what exactly is going on. And for two seasons, now, the writers have demonstrated a grand ability to just make stuff up with no better idea than the audience as to whether it will all fit together. BONES does this sort of thing all the time, but at least with shows like Rah-Xephon, Eureka Seven, Xam'd etc there is some indication that they know what they're doing.

Bones have always been about characters rather than plot, even before they formed as a company. They just had even less of a plan with DTB than they did with their more successful works. Of course, Japan always guns for character-oriented works. It means they have more reasons to love their waifu.

Only problem is there weren't any real waifu candidates from DTB. But yes, it does seem Bones is far more character driven.
