So much for Mappy's theory as to where it all started. That's the last place I would've thought. No wonder Miyazaki is so opposed to modern anime.

You didn't already know that? It was fun explaining the term to my little sister's friends about a month ago when she had an anime marathon. It's their fault for asking why there was so much fanservice in anime.
