The OVA night playlist will be as follows:

REC 5 & 6
Shinigami No Ballad 4

...enjoy!!!

...now we wait for the avcon people to react....hehehehehehehe!!!!

Looks like an early night for me... Nothing in that line up at all that interests me.

The room for October will be C3-16.

its an awesome lineup!! why? because its anime, thats why. it amazes me how some people can claim to be avid anime watchers and yet have such a limited interest... :)

I don't recognize a single title on this playlist; but I'll still be coming. The whole point of AJAS (for me at least) is to see new and exciting things. *coughHaruhiHigurashicough* 8)

edit: And to eat a pizza at the end of it all.

My lack of interest is not due to what anime is being played but what I have not seen or am unable to see.

I wouldn't mind seeing half of the stuff on the playlist but due to Uni I will miss half of the movie and I haven't seen any previous episodes of the other shows on the playlist. I like to watch series from start to finish, not start somewhere in the middle.

Me? Limited interest?... LOL

I'm thinking that the movie can be put on later in the night to allow for those people that do arrive late, like Atory. It's been so long since AJAS last played a movie that I can't remember whwre we traditionally put it on the playlist for OVA nights. Let me know what you people think of the movie being put on last.

We usually play movies last. We did that for Howl's Moving Castle, Beyond the Clouds, Wonderful Days, etc. It is so people rocking up a bit late can see the main feature.

traditionally movies have been played last because of the issues you raise. Spirited Away was played after a single episode of Hale nochi Guu as warmup....

Giniro no Kami no Agito is certainly a good-looking film, from the short grabs I've seen.

As fond as I am of anime, it doesn't fill an empty stomach. Especially one as big as mine. Though I've had the odd occasion where my stomach has been empty because of my purchase of anime. Say, sometime in 1994....

Well, it is animated by GONZO, this movie marks their first foray into movie length animation effort.

It gets worse. Now they want us to pay them to screen it. I have other ideas that don't include increasing madman's budget.

Won't be attending this one since I don't want to give you all the cold I've got. If someone could make me a copy of that movie that's being played tonight, I'd highly appreciate it.

You are in luck Mendes. Greg was telling me that Madman (the company, not the user) have licensed it for distrobution in Australia so you will be able to buy a copy.
