Did Usagi end with the guy not getting the MILF?
It would explain his actions in the manga.

Originally the manga was going to but the author couldn't be bothered writing any more to make it so.
Fans pleaded with her to do so and ticked her off.
To spite them - Daikichi and Rin....MARRIED.

I missed AJAS and Usagi last week, so was wondering what the Anime's conclusion was.

A non-ending, really. Life went on without a timeskip or anything, as it does sometimes.

Basically the anime ends as the director said it would - at the point just before the timeskip to Rin's teen years happened.

This Fate/Zero thing is a keeper.

And after watching Penguindrum tonight I'm rather glad I didn't pester my normalfag friend to come along...

And Steins;Gate made me think way too hard. Not that I'm complaining about the show itself; rather that my feeble mind is having issues keeping up with things.
