You mean I didn't have to source the material and watch it all by myself?

Oh well, Ep. 6 is definitely worth watching again!

From memory, there was an intermission of sorts back in 2003 and it did allow people to stretch their legs, get a dirnk, chat - it worked. I don't see why bringing it back in a revamped sense is a bad thing.

If you fear change, you're being rather reckless. Change is inevitable. Change is a necessity. Life always changes on every level. Nothing stays the same, nothing lasts forever. If you're going to always resist change, you will be an ancient relic of the past. That is, if you're lucky not to be crushed beneath change.

Greg has sincerely wanted to change things for the better and he's making an effort to do so. Don't instantly dismiss his ideas before seeing what comes of them. At least Greg is doing something for the good of AJAS. And freaking :respect: x Over 9000 for doing so.

geez sorry profesor of philosiphy :x was only saying it cause he thought it would make people watch more anime instead of leaving when the only reason we dont watch something is cause we dont like it...

Some people leave the room because something they don't want to watch something, true. But you're making a very general assumption when saying it's the 'only' reason.

People also go outside because sitting down and watching something for 3 hours straight does get rather weary. There comes a point where one needs to move around for a bit to get refreshed. Or maybe they would like to talk with someone - they're certainly not going to do it in the room while something is on - that is if they're considerate of others. People have previously done that if they watched a series that's on in full away from AJAS. Code Geass R2 was a perfect example - there weren't many people that could wait for the AJAS screenings and watched episodes the moment they came out. And some people go out for a bit to get food or a drink.

Perhaps those reasons are why Greg is introducing an intermission?

I do believe there comes a point, in all things, where those in charge stop listening to peoples' complaints because people complain no matter what is done.

I do believe that point is being reached.

Just an observation.

Feh.... We've made another change, already, dumping Potemayo for Maria Holic because that's what people seem to want. Which means the playlist is still not consistent for another week.

You should try maintaining the Playlist Guide through all this. 8)

The playlist was going to include both Potemayo and Maria Holic, but a certain amount of bts stuff saw us pare down the playlist to under 3 hours, which meant something had to go.

Potemayo survived. Temporarily.

Also: Maria Holic is currently in the process of Jumping The Shark. Have a nice day.

Unfortunately, THAT is not an option. As with most anime clubs globally, it is a general rule to always show the OP and ED credits (mind you, in the early days of subs, they left them off to save on bandwidth).

We left out OPs and Eds years ago (1996 to be precise) because the meetings were only two hours long (it is all we could book for at the time) and was the only way we could fit in five shows, rather than four.

We're actually now booked until 10pm. This is because of expected meeting overrun. We probably could have fitted in Maria Holic last night. But as I said....

Look, I'm trying to put this one back on at some point (even though White wants this as OVA material). Even so, with what Barron wants, we may not finish this until 2011....

The more series that we finish, the easier it will be later (at least, that's MY theory anyway).

gg don't make any mention of going afk of their twitter feed. This might be an attempt to stop people looking at a website they got too lazy to update.
