It was thought that she was set up because she apparently got a phone call from the kids parents, saying hes run away, and that they need her help in getting him back home etc so she went and bam. before she left apparently, her flatmate reportedly was told that she was a bit concerned about her emails because she said someone hacked into her internet emails only days before, most likely by the parents.

I refuse to believe in parents capable of hax0ring into emails.

Resident tank enthusiast. See me for racist and opinionated storytelling and vaguely accurate historical tank warfare-themed rants.

Most likely, after all, this news article mentioned it wasnt her emails but the boy's emails hacked into. I think the police should consider charging the parents or at least warn them severely about hacking into people's private emails and luring the woman with means of deception. The woman isnt innocent to a degree but she shouldnt have been treated this way because of the parents of the boy. just my opinion.

The kidnapping charge is likely to fall flat once it reaches court. But then, I'm underestimating the congenital stupidity of the legal system. Even more so the American legal system....

It's not too bad (yet) - that dry cleaner won the case where he was sued for ^64 million for losing a pair of trouser (which he found the next day)
Mel Gibson's remake of The Life of Brian is nowhere near as funny as the original.
