CAR STOLEN!

by Ryan White » Tue Jun 19, 2007 1:51 am

I was at work tonight and some bastards have stolen my car, can AJAS members please keep an eye out for a white, Holden VN Commodore wagon, registration WAM 877. It has no grill and a smashed front right indicator. I will be very appreciative if anybody finds my car. If you do happen to spot my car please ring either the police, me on #no longer required# or leave me a PM on the forum.

What are the chances it ended up in my hood? Pretty high I think. As much as I didn't like that car I will still keep an eye out for it. :)

Panic is over, my car has been located. Thankfully the bastards didn't torch it, although they may have used it to rob a servo. Back window is smashed and steering column has been stripped.
Ironically enough it was dumped near a mechanical repairer, who is now fixing my car and rigging some anti-theft devices.

Yikes. Well at least you don't have to get a new car. Tough break though.

Hmm ... new aluminium armor from recycled cans .

Detachable steering courtesy of Thames Studios from their Mr. Bean production ...

Glass laminates bonded with use of boiled down Coke buddies .

Resin totems of warding that Ryan would add himself ...
I must feel proud about the things I choose ...,

Be it Ero-games , doujinshi , or clothes ; its all the SAME !

Oddly enough, those sound like items Ryan kept quite liberally in his car, anyway. Instant repair job. 8)

I hear from a reliable source that the aforementioned servo is located on Salisbury Highway... :D

Mate, that might actually lift it up a rung or two in the social scale compared to its current slot. :P Hell, I can't go past Gepps Cross whenever I head in that direction. I have the same problem when I head in a southerly direction too,

It could be said that Adelaide was once protected from the scourge of boganism by the barrier known as Grand Junction Road. Unfortunately, that isn't the case, anymore....

Then again I'm not even keen to go as far south as Marion anymore. -_- I hear that place is a hotspot for getting your car nicked.

Somehow I doubt that an insurance company would count that as an anti-theft device.

No, but at least everyone would know when your car is being stolen. And the thieves would think twice about it in future. If at all. 8)

...I remove the terminal leads from the battery whenever I park the car somewhere unsavoury. Sure it doesn't stop them flogging my stereo, but at least I get to keep (most of) the car. Haven't met a theif smart enough to figure it out yet. Ane believe me, they've tried.

Something Jim used to do with his old Mitsubishi Scorpion, after it got stolen twice. Yes, twice. And he got it back in one piece twice. Must have been something to do with it being seriously underpowered, what with it containing the 1.6l Saturn motor from a Mitsubishi Colt, as opposed to the 2.6l Astron II it was supposed to have. I'm sure whomsoever stole it had a sudden wave of disappointment at the thing's performance and decided to cut their losses. 8)

It was also the 4th car Jim has driven that has been involved in an accident. Surprisingly, most times he was stationary when it happens. The Starwagon L300 Express was a different story. 8)

It's reasons like these that make me glad I don't have my own car.

This is a truly horrid situation that I'm facing at the moment. I actually have to be nice to my family in order to borrow other member's cars. Dammit, two cars isn't enough to go between three people, I really need mine back but it's still getting fixed.

Yes, it is quite sad that we don't get to choose our own family members. After all, look at your family: would they be people you'd normally associate with? 8)

I'd still want my mother but maybe I wish she wasn't a psychologist, they are so much better perdictors of what's going on. The rest of my family, I'd keep the uncle that was my mother's younger brother. The entire rest of the family - negative.
