Tell Barron to check his e-mail!

by Atory » Tue Mar 20, 2007 7:53 pm

Can someone tell Barron to check his e-mail so he can deliver my monitor tonight?

Heh, I just received a phone call from a very lost Barron and Rasberry looking for your place. You could live in a more convenient location.

Considering the "wanted" reputation of Adelaide being a 20 min city ... i reckon its actually 1hr + .

After all since suburbia looks all the same , its 20 mins by map + 40 mins getting lost even with map .
I must feel proud about the things I choose ...,

Atory lives in Freeling, which is out past Gawler. Until I knew Atory it only existed as a turnoff that I previously went past at 140kph.

How the hell can you get lost in Adelaide?!

Sydney I'd understand, but Adelaide...

As for the 1hr thing, you can get to Victor Harbour in an hour and that's a fair way. I wouldn't complain too much. I'm half an hour from town, 20 minutes in good traffic.

Freeling isn't in Adelaide you noob, it's far enough outside to not even be considered worthy enough of being included in a street directory. It's at least a 20-30 minute drive out of Gawler and when you consider how fast I was going...

Meh, I was hauled out to the country every 2nd week for years. It ended up being impossible to get lost out that way.

Then again, I always lose my bearings around Gepps Cross for some reason.

I travel from Freeling to Uni five days a week. Takes me about 1 hour to get to Mawson Lakes and 2 to get to Magill.

Gawler, alone is approx the same distance from Adelaide as Strathalbyn. Add some distance to that and you have Freeling.

How much I knew about Freeling before I met Atory: I didn't even know there was an actual town in which people actually lived. I just thought it was a district full of empty farm fields one sped past on one's way to Clare. :?

Lets see now ... if the travel time was 1+1/2 hrs to Freeling then at 110km/h over here ... depending on where you'd start it'll be about 2-3 states worth of having driven through .

No, actually, you don't need a car to get a job. I know plenty of people that don't own cars that have jobs. Hell, my sister has both but she only ever uses her car to go to netball.

If I can get to the city for Uni, it just means I have to get down earlier for work. Of course work for me would only be casual as I currently want to stay as a proper full-time student.

Maybe visit my house instead - half of the way there, less than a third of the size of atorys but more than 3 times the anime figures!

An excellent reason NOT to go there then. [Hides from scarily huge figure collection and even scarier collector].

Shovel - Check
Tire spikes - Check (Stops the car from sliding on the blood.)
Cloth to wipe blood from car -check
ear plugs to hold out the screams* - check
Bribe for the Hell's Angels in case I can't stop this time** - Check.
Black Marker for adding "kills" to the side of my car - Check.
Fake number plates - Check.
Computer - Check.

* Did I ever tell you how I got my licence?

Refer to my signature for information regarding relative distances from Adelaide to Gawler, Freeling and Chicago. :)

Personally, I'd rather drive to Chicago. There's alot less boganville to go through.

You haven't been through true boganville until you've traveled through Blacktown and/or Footscray. They take things to a whole new level of bogan.

Adelaide is a middlebrow bogan city.

In other news:

Baz & Phul are moving house!!1 From one piece of boganville to another. Yep, thats right folks, Para Vista. Which is kind of funny because the street we're moving too is full of derros (Govt. housing obviously), but 100m down the road you get very respectable (privatley owned) and in some cases two-storey houses. :?

Oh God, NO!
Why the blutig hell do you have to move into the suburb next to mine? There are enough bogans around here as it is.

Why the blutig hell do you have to move into the suburb next to mine? There are enough bogans around here as it is.

I'm also applying for jobs at local Woolworths.

Well, I was looking or more motivation to get a new job. Remind me to tell my bosses not to hire you.

My work days are Mondays, Wednesdays and some weekends. Hmm, if I can get the old woman to calm down maybe I can actually come to AJAS again. Lord knows I need to see something new. I haven't seen any of my own anime since December 28th.
Disgusting...
