Could we have a Gaming Section in the Forums?

by Pirate Man » Sun Aug 19, 2007 10:02 pm

Was wondering if you could put a gaming section up on the forums, not only is it related to anime, you could put a link to the unisaga forums, and also chuck all of WOW threads and compact them into one. Since Saynora Zenbutsu Sensei and Lucky Star contains NUMEROUS gaming references throughout the anime, for example the episode 3 where it has a reference to Ace Attorney and Persona 3 and Lucky Star, with episode 3 serve as a reference of Konata's cousin becoming demolition girl, it will also serve something about favourite games to discuss without it getting mixed up in General.

YOU MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITIONAL FORUMS.

You could post your comments on games on the UniSAGA forum and link to them. Especially as the UniSAGA forum is devoted to games.

Says the king of all derailers.

How many threads Pirate Man has derailed due to WOW: none

How many threads Last Exile has derailed due to WOW: infinity + 1. You have derailed the thread yet again.... :wallbash:

A gaming section is a good idea but gaming isn't one of AJAS's aims so I don't think it's wise to add a section or people will start wanting other non-anime sections. Don't we have enough already? If something doesn't fit in any where else throw it in General.

Well its up to you guys but like I said there are more and more anime doing massive in-jokes and references in anime and has tied both media even closer together even more so than LA series and movies. I think it would be a good idea to put one up to ask which game in-joke X is featured in anime series Y + you dont want to clog up General forums with asking what game X is either :).

Hmm... on one hand, games are what UniSAGA's forum is for. OTOH, do we really want certain people over there?
Mel Gibson's remake of The Life of Brian is nowhere near as funny as the original.

I'm much more strict as an admin than a mod.
