I thought it might be a good idea to put a "currently watching" section into the forum profiles. That way members can share what they are into and the AJAS committee can use this as a way of seeing what genres or shows are most popular with the members.

There could also be a "currently reading" for people who like to share what manga they like.

Sorry to rain on it Atory , but the manga section already has a "What are you currently reading" thread .

Problem there isn't that nobody reads manga , just that nobody's writing .

You're not raining on the parade, but you are failing to read Atory's post. Atory wants the "currently reading/watching" to go in users profiles. Tim can probably mod them to include these fields.

Profiles are more likely to get entries as they are more personal to those who use them and people can't comment on their preferences directly.

All that is required is more "interests" fields just with different titles. It's a really easy mod.

If there is an easy way to block people from just putting "anime" or "manga" in there I'd recomend it. Or require that it be updated every 3 months or so?

maybee a place to post what we are watching and we use it as our user titles!

then again we will watch our favs and never have it updated!

but then it woudl be cool if we jsut had our fav anime there as it would show to each person who likes what!
