by Last Exile » Tue Jul 17, 2007 1:55 am

So apparently there will be 2nd series of Kiddy Grade, Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien and Shuffle. Any of them actually released?

The Shuffle "sequel" has been and gone. 90% reused footage, 100% crap.

Knew about Kiddy Grade. Seen a promo for it. Kimiga didn't know about.

Kiddy Grade is not really a sequel. It is set like so many years after the 1st series.

Kiddy Grade 2 being set a number of years after Kiddy Grade 1 = Sequel. At least to me.

You mean Akane Maniax, that rancid little pile of droppings with a main character who was the equivalent of putting JarJar Binks in the middle of The English Patient or The Shawshank Redemption?

OVA of KGNE is planned, chornicling the another ending. Instead of blue hair girl, the main character decided to go for the comatose one

That's all I know.

I guess we should look forward to a Fate/Stay night OVA where Shirou ends up with Rin, at this rate?

It's more likely we'd see a Fate/Hollow Ataraxia anime than one of those. 8)

Put it this way...If there is a series of that, I'm going postal on every single person that ruined Saber in that version. I mean it.

Can we guess who has an unhealthy obsession with a FICTIONAL character?

Considering how much you spent on the 1/4 figures, that's a little rich.

No, I simply resent the way she was treated in that version. It ruins what was good about those characters in the first place.

As for that club, neg. I didn't even take anything from there. Their 107 page thread is a riot.

Ataraxia will never see OVA treatment. It is just fandisk, and it did not featured in canonical treatment of the story. Except the small story of 8th Servant and his erstwhile Master, Bassette.

TYPEMOON next big project is Kara no Kyokai/Garden of Sinners, early work of Kinoko Nasu. It has 7 movies, talking about another branch of demon hunter family, the Ryogi.

The story also talked about Touko, Aoko Aozaki's sister. Aoko is mentor to Shiki Tohno, main character in Shingeshutan Tsukihime. who is also one of the powerful Mage who attain True Magic. This is also first time we see the presence of Atlasian Alchemy Guild, a very powerful faction in Magus Association that also governs with the Church help Holy Grail War.

I am waiting for this one with full anticipation.

KGNE has 18 or 19 endings. My friend who played it, swore that best female lead is the sister, Akane. Her scenes are considered to be most intense and touching by the fans of the game.

Something RM seems to have forgotten. The thing was a joke to begin with. 8)

Oh joy, another TYPEMOON title that will probably be made of fail when it gets translated into an anime form.

Excuse me if I'm not feeling so inclined. The TYPEMOON universe is a clusterphoaque already. Just thinking of all the little subplots and subsubplots and subsubsubplots and subsubsubsubplots is making my head hurt. :ouch:

They've already successfully ruined Akane in a well orchestrated piece of character assassination by putting her name on an oav that was so unmitigatedly and irredeemably bad you could just see it entertaining itself by playing with the corpse of the original series.

I didn't hate it much.

Mappy, with the possible exception of NGE and FSN to a degree, any ero game transferred to the anime format was made of fail.

Kara no Kyoukai is a novel, not game so the story transition should be less confusing compared to game based Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night.

Plus TYPEMOON universe is famous and awesome for its intricate subplots. This chart is the representation of entire universe so far.

I guess the other problem was there were so many arcs you can take in a game but only one that you can take in the anime format.

i'd say that utawarerumono made the transition to anime pretty well, though i don't think it's ero enough to be considered an ero game
