Tuturuu!! Mayushi coming to a DVD player near you. How awesome is that? Steins;Gate hasnt even finished airing and its picked up, that pretty awesome and well deserved.

Also Angel Beats on blu ray wow in totally picking that up ive been holding out for ages. I saw the preview of the first episode dubbed Sentai did a really good job on it I have a feeling this one could be big.

Usagi Drop was always on my radar so good to know ill be able to watch it legally.

and finally Nichijou definetly picking that up too, its KyoAni showing off how much money they have and I sold my soul to them so it cant be helped.

Ill have to check out trailers for the rest otherwise that was a pretty good haul IMO

*shrug* Really nothing to be enthused about personally. Siren have been strategic and spread their genres. Madman are relying on people being stupid, as always.

Dennou Coil and the semicolons would be the only things that vaguely interest me, here.

Wow you guys all sound genuinely depressed what would you rather have?

Im just glad Madman have licenced stuff before FUNimation because for a while there thats all they were doing.

Cause it's not good enough. Madman will only distribute anime with dub track and funimation isn't the only mob out there.

Well, let's put my opinion in perspective:

- Angel Beats
This was half as long as it was supposed to be, and therefore turned into a mess. The idea wasn't all that bad, but the production and writing fails killed it for me.

- Bunny Drop
Nobody has watched this yet, so nobody knows how good/bad it will be. It is a noitaminA title, though, so I'll probably watch it when it comes out.

- Dennou Coil
This was a good show. It was also a very slow show. Half the episodes could have been cropped without losing very much. But in was NHK funded, which means the quality of the show is going to be higher, regardless of the subject matter. Unless it is called Moshidora.

- Chaos;Head
Super Special.

- B gata H Kei
The S.lut Fail Show. Pretty damn mediocre. Yamada is one of the most irritating and stupid female leads of the last couple of years.

- Hetalia World Series + Paint it White the movie
Hetalia can be okay, but I don't want to rush out and buy it.

- Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike (movie)
A Tales Of series. Nope.

- GOSICK
It doesn't matter how good the series became, the first half was just terrible.

- Nichijou: My Ordinary Life
This tries hard to be funny, so I can't really bring myself to hate it. But that also doesn't mean I want to buy it.

- Steins;Gate
I like this show, even if others don't. It is trying to not make the mistakes that Chaos;Head made.

- Deadman Wonderland
blutig mediocre show. I'm not watching this for its stellar storytelling.... I'm watching this to see people die in horrible ways. Because that is really all this show has to offer.

Siren is still doing a better job than Madman at picking up titles. But that isn't hard, since Madman pretty much dropped the ball, and their production quality is terrible.

It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.

Hmm...I'll list some, but not in order of preference:

- Aoi Hana (Yuri doesn't sell, accepted the fact)
- Bartender (Siren might...)
- Cutey Honey (Oh, settle down. Madman licensed Strike Witches. They've opened the door for just about anything. But it's 70s so sigh)
- Garden of Sinners (the cost of licensing is probably the deterring factor)
- Galaxy Express 999 (Harlock and Yamato licensed, but not this. Why...)
- Kaiji (Too cool for Siren and not lowbrow enough for Madman)
- Kimagure Orange Road (Yeah, definitely too good a romcom. Plus it's 80s)
- Kimi ni Todoke (Shoujo anime doesn't sell, accepted the fact)
- Kurenai (Slender hope Siren might)
- Lovely Complex (But then again, licensing a romcom that was actually good overall? Perish the thought!)
- Minami-ke (Madman categorically said no, Siren...I really wish they would. Market it as the alternative to K-ON)
- Nodame Cantabile (Again, good romcom can't be licensed, right?)
- Rose of Versailles (Probably cause Sly would turn to stone because it's so FAB-ulous! And the fact it's shoujo)
- Sherlock Hound (Because if people saw how well a TV show from 1984 was animated and entertaining, people would question why they bother with modern mediocre series)
- Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (Madman said no, Siren...very slim chance. Plus the sensitivity issue thanks to March 11)
Disgusting...

Well you guys have been fans way longer than me so you most likely have way more knowledge on the subject. However, we all know how rare it is for an old series to be licenced. LotGH is not even available in America so as much as Id like to see Rose of Versailles here in Aus the possibility is really quite low or non existent.

The Utena remasters might, might have a chance of getting released here because its Utena.

I would also like to see Kimi no Todoke, Lovely Complex, Kurenai and Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 and in all honesty only Tokyo magnitude has a proper chance. I like my RomComs but it seems they dont sell hence they arent picked up. I honestly dont understand how Toradora! was ignored until NIS released it. Its a series that would have had mainstream appeal if it got the marketing Push it deserved.

Dennis...there's a difference...

Haruhi reason - The line 'I'll just say you ganged up and flocked her' in the scene where Haruhi used Mikuru to blackmail the computer club for a computer.

Bund reason - Naked pre-teen for no justifiable reason whatsoever.

Yes, i am complaining in a way, since it should have been rated . R, even if it is because of her age. The only reason a show like this can get away with it in the states is because the companies rate the shows themselves, due to there being no central body there like the oflc.
