THE FALL 2010 THREAD

Obari will save the industry. Just you watch.
Although I don’t know about the directions at 4:51.
It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.

Isn't Code Geass Gaiden in 2011?

Well, seems I have found a title that has me a bit intrigued. Although I gather it'll probably be more into the tastes of Greg, Garry and Simeon. ;)

Sure, there are plenty of pointless purchases in my collection, but I've found a use for most of them. For the record, I only have ONE imouto eroge, out of my 32... :P

Also, having now watched the first episode of this show, it reminds me a little of Chocotto Sister, just with a Tsundere for an imouto

Probably will end up as my fave series of 2010. :)

Ah, the hypocrisy of ANN simply refusing to review Oreimo. Yet they review H-game clones with H content that they know are bad, or merde like Milky Holmes. And yet they stream Oreimo... XD

Re: THE FALL 2010 THREAD

On Tuesday morning, Crunchyroll Vice President of Licensing Rob Pereyda ranked Crunchyroll's Fall 2010 simulcasts in order of popularity on the site. The ranking is as follows:

1. The World God Only Knows
2. Otome Yōkai Zakuro
3. Sora no Otoshimono: Forte
4. Super Robot Taisen OG: The Inspector
5. Fortune Arterial
6. Squid Girl
7. Yumeiro Pâtissière SP Professional
8. Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt
9. Tegami Bachi Reverse
10. Tantei Opera Milky Holmes

Pereyda also commented that Super Robot Wars OG: The Inspector "may be the surprise hit of the season," and that part of the reason for its popularity was that Crunchyroll has the world-wide license for the series. Although no specific viewing numbers were cited in any of the tweets, Pereyda said that the "baseline level of hits" for this season is comparable to the top levels in previous seasons.

hmm i concur dunno about the god one main character is fotze!

So, of course, he would be unbiased about his opinion of the show.
GarryGod wrote:Although no specific viewing numbers were cited in any of the tweets

No, we can't let the world see the real picture, or anything.
GarryGod wrote:Pereyda said that the "baseline level of hits" for this season is comparable to the top levels in previous seasons.

Because he's not trying to push his company's barrow at all. AT ALL.

At least Crunchyroll can shout their triumph to the world over the completely unmitigated dildos at ANN.

Considering all it took to be able to nab Episode 2 of Oreimo off of ANN was to change the URL from saying Ep1 to Ep2, ANYONE can shout triumph over ANN.

However, the whole way this thing went down...plus that they STILL refuse to review that show...I'm beginning to believe this was staged.

I wish I knew where the maid cafe series is going.... Or the reason for its existence. You have a problem when you get two episodes into something and you still have no idea what you're supposed to be watching.

Oh wait.... Shaft. That explains everything.

Granted, the first episode was pretty terrible, in general. The second kinda defaults to Shaft standard terrible, which means it'll probably be watchable on a Maria Holic level in later episodes, so....

I like the opening theme.

Really, Shinbo's done so many nifty flimclips I wonder why Studio Nue haven't hired him to direct a Macross production. Oh right, because him and Kawamori would just get high all day instead of doing any work.

Or worse, get high then do work.

Oh, and I like Kurage-hime.

I'm gonna love this squid for sure. :wow:

And Kuragehime was pretty good too. :respect: Loved the OP.

Decent 2nd ep of Kuragehime. Ticks enough boxes but doesn't quite feel like a cut above the rest.

Squid Girl was passable. Could watch it but I'm not exactly enthused by it.

Otome Youhei Zakuro - Chuck Norris, how utterly camp...in a bad way...That could inspire mass infertility, that series. Yet I get the feeling that it could grab enough fangirls to generate a cult following and get another series....

ha! noitamina did'nt animated shiki :D and i am glad they did'nt cause its by far the best current running anime with LOL heroes, bakuman, invasion squid girl, panty and stocking is a rollercoaster ride... heck even Amagami SS is enjoyable cause 4 episode's per girl arc....cause variety is win...
why did he bring up Noitamina???

Hmm, is that a 'noitaminA' I see in the tags section for Shiki? :)

Hey, look at the July 2010 entry on the list for noitaminA - it's Shiki! :)

So that makes Eden of the East pretty shithouse, too.

Anyways, Shiki is, by far, Daume's most serious production, considering everything else they've made. Like Ichigo Mashimaro, Minami-ke, Koharu Biyori, Crescent Love, Tonagura!, Hanaukyou Maid Tai, Onegai Teacher/Twins and D4 Princess. It's almost as if they actually want to be a real studio.

Yeah, a TV slot that is about to be in its 7th year of airing and has produced consistently good sales of titles is pretty lame. Everything about this industry is so lame.

what? really shiki's the cloesest thing to a series that has some real grit compared to most
Noitamina shows being a bit flimsy as for the studio Daume meh i liked onegai teacher it was a childish fetish and it still lives on with me
lets not forget gregs favourite show http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4531

It's not like anyone else currently is.
Although I don’t know about the directions at 4:51.
It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.

I know this is a bit late but I just started watching MM! and its so freaking hilarious, the cast of Voice talent isnt bad either Jun Fukuyma really pulls off those masochist monologues very well.

Its like the producers of this show were like sc#@w it lets just cast a wide net here Incest fans, Ecchi fans, Moe fans, tsundere fans etc we are bound to catch something. Its not very Orignal, an androphobe that also wears hairpins, cross-dreser etc its still fun to watch though.

Im only on the second episode so it can only get worse at this point. overall its a good time filler I really didnt think I would like this show.

thats just ZEBEC being ZEBEC.... i will admit it is entertaining the fact they have the same imouto saiyuu from amagami SS is just coincidence? well if she can laugh "niss nisshie!!!" then i don't see any problems then again if you want time fillers should watch something good....like root search...
