We have to show Kikoushi Enma because it is made of win and I want more!!!

I also suggest part of Ayakashi (because I always suggest trippy anime)

1 - 4 Yotsu Ya Kai Dan (Trippy but slow and needs to be seen in its entirety. I wouldn't suggest this one)
5 - 8 Ten Shu Mono Gatari (Romance, violence and good animation, my personal favourite).
9 - 11 Bake Neko (Very trippy and less episodes)

The last story arc of Ayakashi is just drug-induced. The rest of the show is good, but that just makes it, IMHO.

I don't think that movie you suggested "Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo" aka "The Little Girl Who Conquered Time" has been translated.

There is always Umi ga Kikoeru. It might be a bit slow for some, though....

Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo only has a low quality (400MB) version floating around on IRC, I think its being used currently to make a better one, by providing a noun only translation. Trying to track down the distro channel, but it looks beak, no Toki next tuesday at this rate.

Almost accidently downloaded Toki no Tabibito: Time Stranger (1986), the '86 vintage could work rather well for a retro oav night.

I have had this on VHS since about 1994.... I don't know if anyone would sit through it, being an early anime attempt at a hallucinogenic dream action film, based on a tv series.

Last night needed moar desu.

Resident tank enthusiast. See me for racist and opinionated storytelling and vaguely accurate historical tank warfare-themed rants.

Wasn't Strike Witches enough for you?
Note: I don't know what desu actually is and I don't intend in finding out.

There is no nefarious meaning behind the Japanese word "desu", it's just the equivalent of "is/are" and used when making a statement. Well, that's the simple explanation anyway and certain animes tend to use it incorrectly.

I knew that meaning... I don't know his meaning and I don't want to.
