In the near future, probably in Japan, it is long after robots are come into practical use and not so long after human-type robots, or androids appeared.

Because of Robot Ethical Committee, people take it for granted that they should treat them as electronic appliances. However, because of their appearances being identical to ours except their having rings on their heads, some people are attracted by them too much. They are called as “Doll-Style” and it becomes a social problem.

Because Rikuo has been taught to treat them as such since he was a child, he doesn’t think of androids as human beings, and he uses them as useful tools. One day, he finds that strange words are being recorded in the activity log of Sammy, a home android.

Tracing her footprints with his friend Masaki, they arrive at a strange shop that puts up a slogan not to discriminate between human beings and androids.

Whilst there, a powerful earthquake strikes, badly damaging Tokyo and especially the fragile foundations of the island. They are helped by a deliverywoman, named Mari, in their quest to get back home, not knowing whether their home still exists or even if their parents (and Mari's mother and daughter) are still alive.

Based on a popular web-released manga series by Hidekazu Himaruya, this has been described as a "cynical gag" story set in Europe in the years between WW1 and WW2 (1915-1939), using exaggerated caricatures of the different nationalities as portrayed by a gaggle of bishōnen boys. For example, the Italia Veneziano character is into pasta and women. The Deutsche (German) bishi loves potatoes and sausages, and Nippon is an otaku boy. Installments of the manga have jumped back and forth in setting from the ancient times to modern-day geopolitics. The manga's title comes the Japanese words for "useless" (hetare) and Italy (Italia).
------------------------------------------
Japan’s Kids Station television network has officially canceled its planned broadcast of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime series “due to various circumstances.” The series was distributed by Japanese retail anime chain Animate, via cel phone delivery and internet streaming.

Macross F sets out in the year 2059 A.D. The "F" is short for "Frontier", which is also the name of the migration fleet this story is about.

We join the fleet's journey when the concert of the famous pop-idol Sheryl Nome, is just around the corner. Sheryl is visiting Frontier from Macross Galaxy (another colonization fleet), on her tour around the galaxy.

Just like with the Macross Seven migration fleet, the main ship is a huge city-dome. This is the home of the majority of the fleet's population, on the scale of 10 million people. It is a place where they can live life, just as they would back on Earth.
However peace is soon broken when strange alien creatures attack the fleet, just when Sheryl's concert is well underway.

What could it be that have drawn them to this fleet? Is Sheryl the only one on board with a talent for singing? What secrets will we learn about the past? And what cool new Valkyries will be revealed for this show?

Follow the series to find out all that, along with music and dogfights, that will take the Macross universe to a new high.

For this TV series Kanno Youko is handling music, Kikuchi Kouji is director and once again Kawamori Shouji is designing the Valkyries & general director.
