I've been informed by my girlfriend that there's a chance i'll be going to the Gold Coast with her family for a holiday around that time, so i won't be able to attend this LAN.

I may be able to attend depending on my ability to talk my managers into letting me have that weekend off.

If his PC will fit in a single seat then I'll have room. Otherwise he'd have to ride on the roof! :D

How did the event go?

it was an eventful weekend for me too, since i wasn't able to attend due to not being able to travel there and back, instead i was riding the last ever runs of routes being deleted on the 12th December and the first runs of routes that were new on Sunday 13th

Maybe it is because I live on the edge of the Northern Wastes that I don't think this is a bad thing. 8)

You live on Grand Junction Road?

I remember being told somewhere that that road is considered the border between Adelaide and Boganville. A few of my mates boast not stepping foot south of that road for many azuras so I guess the story holds some water.

Plenty of bogan areas south of Grand Junction Road. After all, the Parks area is south of there. In fact, that area goes beyond the merely bogan....

Indeed. Bogans in Semaphore Park tag rubbish bins.

But, according to some, there are no bogans south of Grand Junction Road. 8)

Maybe they're just visiting.

or

They didn't say anything about Bower Road.the joke being that Bower Road is what Grand Junction Road becomes once it crosses Port Road

You don't know what bogans are until you've lived up north. All the people I know that used to live in the South wish they were back there.

Me being a prime example. Sure I got beaten up and mugged down there, and people made bomb belts with their family as hostages*. But at least people know how to drive within 1-2 KM of the speed limit rather than the 10-20-50! KM that is so popular up north.

Still I can't pay them out too much, there are heaps of them where I work and I like my limbs where they are, thank you.
