We all know Coke employees prefer Pepsi. That commercial was classic.

Meh, both suck. It's just sugar syrup mixed with 2.5 ph acid.

Beer is best. If you're looking for a soft drink then Schweppes Traditional Brown Cream Soda is good.

Genuine brewed ginger beer (such as Bundaberg) is best. Not the fake stuff that's just sugar water with a pinch of ginger.
Mel Gibson's remake of The Life of Brian is nowhere near as funny as the original.

It depends if you mean actual sasparilla or stamp-flavoured brown water.

No, Kon (he's been to unisaga once I think) liked it so much he tried to get the recipe from Schweppes. You might be interested to know that it's available at places have imported soft drinks such as the lolly shop at Norwood Mall (but it's $3 a can).

I didn't mind Dr Pepper, but I never loved it enough to go seek it out. At least until it occurred to me that I didn't know what Dr Pepper actually was. It isn't cola or cherry cola or sarsparilla or anything that even vaguely matches any form of soft drink I've encountered before, and I've drunk some strange concoctions in my time (anyone for Dandelion and Burdock?) so just what the hell is it?

It did actually taste like a cough syrup I had before but it's not healthy to drink cough syrup.

Same reason I like Mountain Dew. Just switch the words cough syrup with washing detergent.

Dishes scrub up better in Mountain Dew than actual dishwashing detergent, too. 8)
