How do I played .rmvb file?

by Bazza » Thu Sep 27, 2007 3:45 pm

..without paying for Real Player that is.

Despite using the latest version of the CCP, using MPC I get the following error while trying to play a .rmvb file:

MPC then proceeds to play the file's audio track with no problem, minus the video.

So is it MPC's fault or is it a corrupt file?

Get an older version of Real Player or download specific codecs.

Yeah thanks. Why does MPC not play .rmvb when it clearly states RealMedia support in the settings?

I dunno? I don't play .rmvb's on a PC.

/thread

I installed the RealAlternative external codec to play .rmvb files...
...only to find out the subs were in Chinese. D;
(why label a fansub in English if it's made for a Chinese audience?)

'Cause they couldn't read the label?
