I remember a Candaian TV show about a moose who threw green slime at people when they said they didn't know stuff.

Since she still hasn't figured it out:

Gorillaz - 19/2000. If you've never seen it, youtube it and watch it to the very end. Then you'll get it.

And remember:

Happened to me on a half dozen occasions when I was a kid, most times at school, on really hot days. The kind of heatwave days that only seem to come in dribs and drabs now, despite the apparent threat of global warming. The sort that left me with back and shoulders covered in blisters.... Was one of the contributing factors to my becoming a geek. It's less painful to spend most of your time indoors....

You can also laugh at the rain's pathetic attempts to spoil your day, too. 8)

It was particularly heavy today, it must be said. And it certainly hailed here. Dunno about everywhere else. The creek was at the point of breaking its banks down at Magill as we were waltzing into the UniSAGA meeting, tonight.

At least the ducks looked happy.

Wraiths can be a bit of a problem. They are somewhat scary and a bit hard to get rid of.

PETA is a different story, however. They are a society of innately and fundamentally worthless people whose removal from the face of this world and all existence would be of immeasurable satisfaction, not only to we puny humans, but to the vast majority of the rest of the animal kingdom. They also make me use long words and convoluted sentences. So as we're wiping out all the ducks, we can take out PETA as a bit of positive collateral damage. You know it makes sense. 8)

Yeah, I can beat the wraiths though ( of primal game that is...)

Heh yeah but how ex.. ooh we can tell peta to come and meet up, and arrange a meeting place where we dont come but peta and the ducks are there and BOOM! we blow them up in one go... how does that sound eh? or alternatively, put them in the lions' habitats.

PETA has it completely wrong. Animals are supposed to be eaten, why else are they made out of meat?

PETA are also hostile to plants. They even give awards to people who eat plants more than others. I say we genetically manipulate plants to become giant, marauding carnivores programmed to eat only those who belong to organisations whose acronyms use the letters t, e, a and p. Of course, any group that isn't PETA, but also use those letters in their acronyms, will be collateral damage.... But I don't really give a stuff. 8)

I think PETA is some farcical plan to destroy the world through global warming. We must prevent their seditious literature, if we let animals live and keep eating all the plants then the Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere will increase to even higher levels. Do the world a favour, stab the next PETA rep you see in the face.

There's a war between land-based and sea-based animals, therefore eating seafood is our duty.

The bean knowledge one was great. Why did the change it to grains of truth on DVD though? ><

Official company translators are a bit like online reviewers. It only takes a few words for their stupidity to become overwhelmingly obvious. They thought that explaining the bean knowledge thing would have made the joke cumbersome, just like that reviewer thought it was a clever idea to compare Shakugan no Shana to Bleach. How about actually describing the show you're watching, genitalsnap, and not just the first phoaquing episode, either....

Speaking of which, a review at you-know-which site just called the game show episode in Ergo Proxy the one episode that didn't make sense, was out of place and shouldn't have been made....God, they are brainless.

My favourite example:

Perfect Blue is what you'd get if Hitchcock worked with Disney.

(Despite it being not at all Disney like, and maybe a bit too complicated for a Hitchcock movie)
Mel Gibson's remake of The Life of Brian is nowhere near as funny as the original.

There are four autonomic responses, and they all start with F. Fright, fight, flight and making love. -Dr Karl

Though it was a fine example of what you'd get if Satoshi Kon worked for himself.
