I can't find my ugg boots at the moment. Something to do once my exams are done. The cold temps of 1 degree lately have kept me up several hours past midnight, which doesn't make for good study patterns, but I've managed. But mum has been doing more roasts lately and they always own along with her divine roasted vegetables. And I do like my new jacketand my scarf, they keep me MUCH warmer when I'm not home.

Drifting in the rain. So much fun. :D

Resident tank enthusiast. See me for racist and opinionated storytelling and vaguely accurate historical tank warfare-themed rants.

actually I hate being out in the rain, especially in city because once not long ago, i was walking down this narrow side alley, and this couple had one of their umbrellas up, but other was closed and held out sideways, I tried to avoid that poking out umbrella by moving closer to the wall but it hit my umbrella, slamming it back into my face, aswell as having my umbrella hit the wall... the couple just glared at me like it was my fault and walked off without a word of apology, leaving me with a broken umbrella and a bit dazed from the blow of the umbrella to forehead

The cool conditions and sunlight remind me of what it was like when I last visited Hobart. You really do notice the difference in light when you're further away from the equator.... It becomes almost eerily muted, even though it goes right through you. Damn hole in the ozone layer....

I used to tell people that my weight problem was down to my putting on the fatty acids for Winter and just not shedding it when Summer arrived. I had a cat who could do that, man, was I envious. 8)

But yes, this Winter has been abnormally cold, even comparing it to the past couple of Winters. The Saturday morning, a couple of weeks ago, where it dropped below zero in Elizabeth, the ice build-up on our car was so bad it took two cups of warm water and lots of scrubbing to clear the windshield so we could get home from a friend's place.... You know you're in trouble when the windscreen wipers, with fresh blades, runs over the ice without removing anything....

Winter means eating fish and chips in the car at the beach (at least it did when I was a kid), watching the gale force wind and horizontal rain blow past the windows. 8)

I had a very British upbringing when it came to the beach, probably because it was only ever my grandmother who took me there. Parents were too busy working their lives away. If it weren't fish and chips it was tea (strong and syrupy from a thermos) and sandwiches (ham and/or curried egg). Only ever seemed to go to the beach when it was wet, windy and cold. Apparently there's plenty of space on the beach at that time of year.... 8)

Winter storms also wash up the most awesome shells, too. Fun times if you're not yet six years old. :)

It's from a Ski yoghurt commercial actually. :P

1/2 Indian, 1/2 Polish but somewhere in the Indian half there was something Portugese as well. Hence my surname. ;)

My fav part of winter was learning to appreciate rain . Not that I had a choice of having to walk from West Terrace to City West UNISA .

But after a few trips its like ... rain ? Who's afraid of abit of rain ?
I must feel proud about the things I choose ...,

Be it Ero-games , doujinshi , or clothes ; its all the SAME !

when youre an art student... VERY AFRAID. Most of us have to lug around big boxy sort of bags filled with our artworks or whatsoever all over the town to our respective art schools, ive learnt to avoid rain at all costs when I was in art school myself.
