Mendes gets a job

by Last Exile » Sat Mar 24, 2007 11:57 am

Yes, it really happened. I have to thank White for the idea.

Woolworths night fill 3 days a week in the Rundle Mall outlet which fits in perfectly with uni hours.

Yes, particularly when one has to commit backstabbing offences to please the boss.

Welcome to Woolworths. Please leave your humanity at the door, don't worry about your soul as we already have that.
Congrats on getting the job, don't forget to collect your staff discount card after 4 weeks and make sure you know the union agreement and woolies regulation completely in case they try anything funny (paragraph 46 i think is notification to take sick leave and paragraph 72 is drink and toilet breaks, they will try something funny over these).

Meanwhile, after 50 months of working for Woolworths I am now onto my sixth Nightfill manager and we finally have our automatic baler, after my store waiting since 2000 to receive it. It's fun to use and I keep threatening to hog-tie people and throw them in.

As much as I expected. I'll be grateful for any advice you have on it all.

Woolies gave me a 2nd stage interview. 48 hours later they say grats. I accept. What did you expect me to do?

PS. Haven't seen you online for a while. What happened to ya?

Wollies isn't going bankrupt and being sold, he wants a job he'll know he won't get retrenched from.

Ah, that explains it. That'll teach Coles for pissing my mother off permanently when I was 15 and making the permanent switch to Woolworths. Hope you find something else soon, Mackellar.
