Here is the playlist I am proposing for Live Action Night.

You're Under Arrest -episode 2

Total running time should come to 3 hours and 15 mins.


Alternativly we could show;

(OPTION B)
Hinokio (Movie)
Gokusen -episode 2
You're under Arrest -episode 1

Total running Time = 3 hours and 15 mins


I think that we should go with "option A" but incase anyone has their heart set on watching Hinokio I'll set up a poll.

I went with Option A, although i dont really care what we watch.

Why doesn't option B have episode 1's?

Initial D live action may = win, however everyone who actually wants to see it probably already has, which kind of defeats the purpose. I come to AJAS for obscure/abstract/mentally scarring animu.

Option 4 may be doable if we swap Gokusen 1 fr gokusen 2. I assume that you have the jigoku Shoujo and gto live action?
We will need to keep roughly within the usual AJAS hours so can you check how long these go for. Generally the first episode goes for 1 hour, and the rest go for 45 mins exch.

Also are these actually good?

There are two important reasons to show episode 2 of Gokusen if we only show one episode of Gokusen.

1. It is 15 mins shorter.
2. Episode one sets up all the characters but isn't as funny as the second episode. This shouldn't give the impression that eps 1 sucks, rather it is simply a reflection of the awsomeness of episode 2.

However it should be noted that episode two contains some spoilers, Idealy we should watch both 1 and 2.

I have seen it and I am a big fan of Initial D, and beleive me when I say it sucks compared to the anime. It's a hong kong movie and feels like it afterall.

Also I want to showcase Live action that isn't avaliable in Australia, or indeed in the West.

Note that for option A i have no problem swaping one or both episodes of You're under arreast if anyone has something better or of HD quality.

yes i have them. jigoku shoujo goes fo only 23 mins . gto goes fo 57mins(ep1.)

I'm surprised Madman made no mention of the Fate/Stay Night live action.

Since I can't edit the poll could we please have this thread locked.
