3 and 4 don't look all that impressive here.... At least, not against a grey background.

Not much of a display text... but it gets the point across.

The last two do look sort of basic but I like the first two.

The website would also need an overhaul in colour scheme to fit them though, at the moment all other attributes would overpower the logo.

Yes i defiantly think the website will need a face lift, to bring the feel in-line with any logo that is chosen.

Remember You don't have to pick now I will not be starting the poll until the beginning of next year.

I should see if John Willanski (Dishlexicman) would like to come up with a submission or if he'd be willing to collaborate with me on something.

I liked logo 3 when Tim sent it to me in a pdf which had a white background, problem is it's too detailed and the lines are too thin for this scale.

While commendable i think appropriately it should be original art ... but in any case , those who can are probably busy at home working on this .

Which should also mean that I need to get cracking as well . . .

by Morphis » Wed Dec 27, 2006 7:22 pm

Last call for submissions.

I'm going to give you all an extra 2 weeks.
So the poll will now start on 14/1/2007.

I'm doing this because people are obviously lazy :hmm:
So get to it ..... :)

And don't worry if its not all glossy and scheiße atm. If you have something submit it. You'll have time after to add spit and polish.

Looks like I'll have to get off my ass and do something... Is there any other submissions besides the ones you posted so far?

Here's the logo I've been working on... it's based off of the eye of Rena from Higurashi. If you study it you should be able to make out the letters forming AJAS. The entire image is done with vectors so in PNG format it can be resized and recoloured easily and retain quality. It is also fully compatible with Flash. I was going to put it in an animation but I've suddenly been lumped with a lot of other volunteer work to do.

It is very cool, but not very readable.

I think that this should definatly be adopted, however I think that it should be partnered up with a text logo.

I have been working on something that I think would be suitable. I have held off on presenting it since I wanted a graphical icon to go with it.

I'll finish it up and post it.

It was very quickly done... I didn't really experiment with colours... I'm hoping that a change of colour would make it more readable. Of course this is only a symbol logo to go alongside text... I can't wait to see what you have in store for us.

Ah sorry about that Tim . After finishing my draft 4 panels , posing it to a friend ; I quickly got the review of ....

"In 2 she looks like a she ..." followed by
"In 2 panels she looks like a he ..."

That pretty much sank my entry .

Submit it anyway, we will appreciate the laugh and I'm sure Bazza will vote for it.
