I'm no clone ><

A fine example would be his fondness of the R31, I don't like it that much. I'm <3 the R32 instead.

Well actually I lied. I <3 the FD3S.

Funnily enough, I too prefer the R32 to the R31.

But, I would rather drive a R31 skid pig I can trash (which I have done quite thoroughly) than an R32 which I would be too scared to do anything in because I would have paid so much for it. :D

Just gotta get an RB26DETT into Shana... that would be sweet.

Also, FC > FD.

Ah, nice logic.

I'm guessing shana is your R31? That's some conversion you got planned there, especially since you'll have to upgrade everything else like the brakes, fuel pumps etc. but it should be one helluva ride once it's done. Are you gonna go sleeper style?

One wonders how a discussion about girls in Victorian clothing became a discussion on the FC and FD RX7.

In any case, I really want to show off my wife to you. You're into the drifting/touge scene I hope? 'Cause Shana has some narly crash damage to the front bar I want you to see. :D

Yes, thats Shana-chan in my signature, in case you were wondering.

He also has a habit of grouping me with Bazza, and although we are brothers we're nothing alike, and he doesn't seem to get that. :?

I love cars and most motorsport so yes I', into drifting/touge. I used to get my fix through HPI and DB but I haven't really been up to date with the scene in ages so my knowledge is quite crap. :(

It'd be awesome to check out your R31.

PS I have a R32 back home...I haven't seen it in for about 2 months now (TAT).

:wow: Finally someone I can have an intelligent conversation with.

Lets see pics of that R32 of yours plox. Not a GT-R is it?

Also, 1986 Aus-spec R31 GX 4-door RB30E N/A 5 speed manual Silo LSD. Modifications include:

    Nismo sticker
    Zorst
    fibreglass bodykit front and back
    pod filter

Lol, if it's intelligent conversations you want, I'm the wrong person. =p

I, surprisingly don't have many pics. I have a few (at crappy angles) from when I first got it which I chucked up on another forum. I'll go dig it up.

Nice, I've always wanted a bodykit on mine but alas, my GTS-T is completely stock. :P

Mine's a '90 R32 Type-M Coupe wit of course, the stock RB20DET. The only modification came with it, which were GT-R rims. XD

You sir, are my new best friend. She's dead smexy. Name? Manual I hope?

Seriously, don't get a body kit. The R32's natural curves are far superior to anything else available. A nice, clean, stock R32 is becoming an extrenelt rare commodity nowadays.

Where I live (yobbo central), there are only a handful of Skylines, and nearly every single one of them has cheap, tacky modificaions like huge chrome wheels and $10 front bars that just ruin the car. And they are always being thrashed out on top of that.

But, if it were my car, black bonnet. JDM Takumi style. 8)

I can post pictures of Shana-chan in her current condition if you'd like, but you'd probably cry. :P

Manual of course, to me a sports car in auto is just a waste. I've never really thought of giving my car a name before.

gah, I know what you mean. I hate rice modifications, especially those tacky chrome wheels and milo can muffler tips.

Pics are always welcomed. :respect:

The reason I don't have any mods is because I have no monies. :P Before I left Sydney, my a/c compressor shat itself so I had to buy a new one but I didn't have time to get it fit before I left. But if I ever got monies, I'd probably do some interior mods. I'd love to get some Bride seats, Nardi deep corn steering wheel and new shift knob. The material on the steering wheel and shift knob are all pretty worn.

*cough*.

Well, I was taking the piss out of the ricers, if it's any colsolation.

This photo was taken after an altercation with a railroad-tie retaining wall. I probably only hit it at about 10kph but it's only fibreglass and snapped readily. :( Also managed to rip the screws holding the number plate out of the skin, so the plate is now held in place by JDM TYTE cable ties.

Cable ties saved my life. One day, they might save yours.

Basically all you do is get some metal shears of some description and cut a hole in the base of the tin thats the same size as your regular exhausts' outside diameter. Wedge or tape it on and crank it. 8)

I can give you detailed instructions if and when you come to AJAS. I have one I prepared earlier sitting where the back seat should have been.

BINGO!

That scar was caused by some tosser who tried to kill me because I drove his girlfriend home from a party. He was drunk off his face and I wouldn't let her get in the car with him so I took both my imouto and her back home. I got about 100 meters down the street and the dummkopf tries to run the lot of us off the road by fishtailing me.

I shot through like lighting and he followed, came to a corner which I made easily, but him being in a VN Commode and totoally blind meant he said OMGHAI2U to a stobie pole.

I just kept driving. /khaaaan Even though I was entirely innocent, being on my P's meant I didn't want any police attention. The bloke in the Commode was fine, he didn't hit the stobie that fast, but his car was messed up pretty good.

He was Carina's friend's boyfriend. I had nothing to do with him besides the aforementioned incident. I can understand and appreciate you're saying this tongue-in-cheek but it must be known I do not associate myself with people like that in the slightest.

Even I have some standards. Honestly, I despise people like him.

I usually try not to swear in front of children, but blutig hell did I curse his name on the trip home.

Don't worry, I don't think I'll turn into another Bazza, I'm probably too fob to turn into one since Bazza sounds pretty "true blue aussie" if you know what I mean.

But I'm anything but true blue. ;)

    I don't drink alcohol
    I don't smoke cigarettes
I don't smoke that other thing either
I own a total of 0 blue flannelette shirts
My vocabulary is considerably larger then the average blokes
I drive something that isn't a Commodore nor a Falcon
I have absolutely no interest in football,
    nor any interest in cricket,
and only a passing interest in the V8 Touring cars.

I actually have more Deutschlander than Aussie in me. German immigrant grandparents and a German-bred-Australian born mother (yes thats the crazy cat lady).

Um, Germany has the world's highest beer consumption per person, so a non-drinking German is almost like an American who doesn't eat overly-processed crap.
Mel Gibson's remake of The Life of Brian is nowhere near as funny as the original.

Where did you pull that from? Deutschland is third behind Ireland and is only 15 cans per year ahead of Australia in 4th.

In any case, getting completely blind (ie. binge drinking) is a distinctly Australian tradition. This country appears to idolize alcohol to the point a teenager is considered weird and is shunned if he or she doesn't get totally wasted on the weekend, as happened to me. I've never had more than a single can/glass at a time and copped a lot of crap because of it. :x

The point I'm trying to make is I'm far too un-Australian to be considered a bogan. I just play along because it's easier than trying to explain why.

I just read DB issue 20...sad that it's ended it's run. I had no idea Ben Ellis financed the whole mag himself and was actually making a loss. :(

Obviously the stats have changed in the last 2 years. Or Wikipedia's wrong again, like the time it said influenza is caused by the Pope's farts.

Nah, the Pope's job is to keep sending out psychic waves to make Mary Baker Eddy think she's dead. Just ask any Christian Scientist.

Try uploading that to imageshack. Normally I wouldn't say that, but Photobucket seems to have a strong disdain for dialup internet. I am getting repeat connection timeouts trying to load that picture.

*after nth F5* Oh hay, it's Shana-chan.

...with both headlights working. How old is this picture? I haven't had a passenger side lowbeam for months now. :?
