by Mappy » Mon Oct 16, 2006 6:23 am

This is the thread for the posting of images like this:

Or like this:

Or even like this:

So if you have any anime or anime-like images you think are funny, cute or just plain awesome, post them here. Of course, hentai or other suspect images will be deleted, and the perpetrators subjected to a stump splitter axe through the cranium. Ryan is looking for a reason to improve the gene pool, so don't tempt him. 8)

The name of the wallpaper makes it that much more suspicious.

Fate/Stay Night Nua PS2 adaptation, Saber and Ilya's tender moment

Censored version. Rin supposed to be naked in the lower right corner pic. And the connection of Archer and Shirou.

Sakura Matou and True Assassin in the left hand corner.I am thinking to get this game since I am a TYPEMOON fan.

Holy cow!!!! Stormy can you please post smaller versions of your pictures with links to the full sized version, that's way too big. Your average file size is 1.3mb, post 3 and that's nearly half an hour over dialup. This thread is dialup unfriendly, not dialup homicidal.

Most of the pics I post have to fit within a 700kb limit as Yahoo won't let you post any larger (the Anime_Girls mirror is in Yahoogroups). Posting directly to Google Groups, the limit is 900kb. I think the pics should be within that limit here.

I've edited Stormy's post so the links to the pics show. I hope you didn't mind, Stormy....

That's Tenbatsu Angel Rabbie, isn't it? The dual eye colour and hair are a bit of a giveaway....

Unfortunately, they only made one oav of the series, and continued it with a series of novels.... Even more unfortunately, the oav wasn't very good....

Wish I had a better copy of this....

I believe the top one in your second to last past is done by one of the artists involved in ROBOT, Mappy.

Here's another unique take on Ilya from Fate/Stay Night.

That is Saber, not Ilya and it is from Fate/Hollow Ataraxia, not Fate/Stay Night.

Those who can tell us what ataraxia means without looking in a dictionary will win an internet. 8)

Yes, it is an actual word, not something made up.

It's basically a fancy way of saying calm (in relation to emotions, not the weather). Truth be told I kinda cheated because I looked it up when I first heard about the game and I am sad enough to remember.

The Oxford describes it as stoic indifference. Which is slightly different from merely calm....

And, of course, Hollow Ataraxia would mean your stoic indifference is either a sham or easily breakable.... And a series based on the randomness of Fate/Hollow Ataraxia would be amusing.

I just associate calmness with apathy and indifference these days anyway.

Weird, all the figurines and screenshots I saw of Saber from Fate/Hollow Ataraxia had her dressed goth-style but still a blonde. They must have been fakes then...

That is Dark Saber, the evil version of her which appeared as major obstacle to Shirou in 3rd Story of the game, Heaven's Feel. She is very powerful and fast, forcing Rider-Shirou combo to very limit of their combat abilites. Rider used Bellophron to nullify Dark Saber's Black Excalibur Noble Phantasm so Shirou can come in and finish Dark Saber off with Azoth, Rin's blade. At first he is reluctant but Dark Saber begged him to kill her since she is not herself anymore, being consumed and controlled by Angra Mariyu shadow generated by Evil Sakura.

In fact in one of bad ending, Shirou forced to use the ultimate expression of Kanshou and Bankuya (the 2 swords) which make him lost his sanity in the end since he used too much mana to perform such feat while fighting Dark Saber alone, one to one. (In ep 14 of anime, Archer was saying the line " My power can break a mountain, and my sword can part a river" incantation is direct homage to this scene when Shirou say it to activate the ultimate Kanshou and Bankuya)

In Fate/Hollow Ataraxia, Dark Saber appears when Shirou decided to pluck out Saber's ahoge (hair antenna) to see what happens. As told in old tale, Dark Saber alone destroyed a rival kingdom when the king dared enough to pluck that one strand of hair off her in flashback narration. Most TYPEMOON fans considered this story just as anecotal, not canon.

Image
------------

The other one is a random scenario in Fate/Hollow Ataraxia where she dressed up that way in one of the dates. I cannot remember much of that scene as it is not significant scene.

Actually that line is refering to major story of the game, which chornicles the tales of Lancer's original Master, Bassette who hails from old Irish family of warrior mages.

In the story she used to be a seal, a hunter who worked for Magi Association to destroy any rogue magus who defied the Association. When she appeared first time in Shirou's dojo, even Rin feared her since she heard of Bassette's reputation.

She have long crush on Chu Chalain, Lancer's origin and she summoned him out of infatuation. She possessed one of Lancer's ear ring, used for conduit to summon him.

Betrayed by Kotomine Kirei, have her command seal hand chopped off by him. She is calm and collected externally in the story but she in turmoil inside. Hence the title.

You know, this would have made Pani Poni Dash so much more amusing if idiot-girl (can't remember her name) turned into dark idiot-girl as a pun on this.... She's just as stupid, but her stupidity can now kill you. :w00t:

Given the characters present it's probably a combination of the two. Especially as there are 8 servant types and there were only 7 in F:SN.
Caren isn't in F:SN but is in F:HA. LE just needs to stop complaining about Ataraxia before he annoys me.

These normal looking (by animu standards) Konatas are far superior to the original in my opinion.

While you are correct about the appearance of the picture, I don't think Bazza is insulting God as I doubt God would care if Bazza needs to tweak how much red there is in the picture. Oh, in case you're not getting the hint, I don't think Range Murata is God, his characters tend to be dressed in far too little clothing, far too much leather and he rarely does a decent background.

While everybody has the freedom of expression , ... i express i want to stab my eyes out from those gender-bender fan-fic . While potentially as effective w/o using geass *ahem* ... Lelouch doesn't make a good girl character .
I must feel proud about the things I choose ...,

Be it Ero-games , doujinshi , or clothes ; its all the SAME !

Insert a "if you know what I mean" involving America, Pearl Harbor and heavy munitions here. :)

I gather that your thinking is your desire to kill?

If you think he would like those characters, think again.... for bazza it's size that counts... and i mean the smaller for him the better!

This post may contain spoilers for next Tuesday's playlist.

Some screencaps from Higurashi Rei.

Firstly, the manliness of the Soul Bothers....

And then, of course, we have the skimpiest swimsuit of the show on Droopy....

Where did she hide those syringes?

No Type-Moon fanservice going on here with Chie-sensei. None at all....

And Shion looks very happy about the thought of using her taser on Keiichi....

Even Okonogi and the Yamainu appear.

Now some screencaps from Denpa Teki na Kanojo.

Juu meets Ame....

....And she swears her servitude to him....

....And proceeds to stalk him....

Ame: You're the reincarnation of the king of a magical kingdom, and I am the reincarnation of your personal knight.
Juu: You're completely bonkers, aren't you.

No, she's not bonkers AT ALL....

....And she isn't creeping into your house and sitting beside your bed whilst you sleep, either....

Meanwhile, this isn't Ryuguu Rena at all....

....And she isn't as insane as Rena, either.

Although I don’t know about the directions at 4:51.
It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.
