International Saimoe 2008

Now in the final 12 stages. Thought some of you may like to know. Particularly Bazza since Shana is still in the Winners Bracket but has the worst matchup possible though.

Next vote-offs are on the 10th (Friday aka tomorrow) for the Losers Bracker and the 14th (Tuesday next week) for the Winners Bracket. Both count as the eventual winner of the Losers Bracket faces the winner of the Winners Bracket in the final match.

If this is the Rika I'm thinking of, that means last year's champ is out of the competition.

Rika won the Japanese version last year. There are 4 different ones running at present - Japan, Korea, China and International. I'm only following the International one.

Interestingly enough, this Rika only scraped into the top 16 and only in this version. She was knocked out quickly.

Fate's chances of finally winning a Saimoe tournament are looking decent. She's been top 3 in Japan and Korea but never won.

Celebratory Fate-chan thread? :)

Resident tank enthusiast. See me for racist and opinionated storytelling and vaguely accurate historical tank warfare-themed rants.

Perhaps. If C.C. gets knocked out, only other person I vote for that would still be in the running is Fate.

Results are in.

Konata Inzumi (#12) def Tomoyo Sakagami (#2) 604-470
Kotomi Ichinose (#8 ) def C.C. (#11) 584-570

Something doesn't seem right...How the hell is Konata still in this?! And why the hell did she win by so much over a proper moe character in Tomoyo?! Man, the amount of hate votes going on now seems to outdo actual like votes. This is a joke. Seriously, if Konata takes out Shana, this is rigged.

I didn't expect C.C. to win, honestly. Oh well, least she finished 7th.

Fate defeats Yuki 1220-956. A very worthy winner indeed. The tiara is finally hers. ^^
