NIS America has recently been informed of a “Publishers Clearing House” mail fraud scam. Recipients receive a letter notifying them that they have been selected as a winner in the “Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes.” Enclosed with the letter is a check for $1000.00, which may vary. The check indicates the payer as “NIS America, Inc.” and the bank as “Bank of the West,” which also may both vary.

This is not a valid NIS America check and we request that all recipients either bring the fraudulent check to the attention of their bank’s fraud department or dispose of the check. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CASH OR DEPOSIT THIS CHECK! NIS America does not support any lotteries, sweepstakes, or contests that award cash or check prizes resembling the letter described above. We also ask that any recipients of this mail fraud please send a copy of their letter and check to NIS America, Inc. using one of the following:

•FAX: 714‐540‐1155
•E‐MAIL: [email protected]
•MAIL: 1221 E. Dyer Rd., Suite 100, Santa Ana, CA 92705
