With any luck the second season will be an improvement on the last 2 oav episodes, both of which were a bit drab, especially the 3rd.... (and the plot of that one wasn't in the manga).
Those in Japan who saw extended footage and Comiket 72 are in consensus that the character desgins and animation are better this time around and that Ohno and Ogiue are much improved compared to the recent stuff.
