A good year that was.....

by Rasberry » Mon Aug 06, 2007 1:05 am

I see recently that certain members don't think there was much from certain years so lets make a list of animes that were great after the awsomeness years.. so in 2004, 2005 and 2006 what has been good (we don't care about the bad stuffs, so don't post it..... put 1 good show for each of the years as followed and at the end we can compile a list of why 2004, 2005 and 2006 weren't so bad after all!

2004 - School Rumble
2005 - Negima
2006 - Black Lagoon

I have been told to keep it to just one title per year per person. I think Ras's point is to generate a list. So no repetition and no multiple titles.

2004 - Paranoia Agent
2005 - Trinity Blood
2006 - Ergo Proxy

And so people actually know what was 'made and released' in those years:

2004
2005
2006

If Trinity Blood is all I could come up with for 2005, that really isn't saying much for 2005, because while I found that series good it was still heavily flawed.

I've always defended 2004 as being a decent year. 2006 was a reasonable return to form. It's only been 2005 I've contested to be a weak year.

I'm currently watching Trinity Blood on Cartoon Network (That's right the dub) and I think it's pretty good.

Refer to here for the list of series from 2005 that I posted. Because I really don't think many of these series, mostly near the top of the list, are deserving of your contempt. One of them I would probably describe as being in my all-time top ten.

I'll give you Mushishi and I'm reserving opinion on Shakugan no Shana and Karas.

Mushishi indeed. Probably 4th, after Cowboy Bebop, Azumanga Daioh and Haibane Renmei.

Noein would be next from that year, somewhere in my top fifty. Which sounds pretty low until you realize it is Mappy saying this. 8)

Noein is in my Top 10. Mushishi isn't due to the simple fact that I haven't watched it all yet.
