New Anime Review: Lovely Complex

by stormy001 » Tue Apr 24, 2007 10:18 pm

Hmmm

For those people who loved Azudai's Osaka Kansai dialect, this is perfect anime. It is a love comedy anime for non-jaded watchers since it is full of cliches that even blind person can see it from miles away. The premise is pretty simple, a very tall girl and a very short boy hated each other guts but actually have a very good rapport going on without realizing it in Kansai setting. To give some idea, it is like a love comedy when people speaking in Queensland dialect all the time and proud of it. And to everyone else it is obvious where the story is going. Imagine love triangles, old flames, bla bla bla yadda yadda etc.

Will I recommend it? Well, it is good anime for lazy afternoon with female friends to watch. However if you too cynical, then walk far, far away from this show.

Watched the first episode of this and I have to say I like it. Not a deep show, by any means, but reasonably entertaining.
