Fuji TV producer Kōji Yamamoto (Paradise Kiss, Honey and Clover II) indicated on his Twitter account on Friday that an announcement of a January title for Fuji TV's late-night Noitamina slot is coming soon. After otaku scholar Hiroki Azuma retweeted Kōji Yamamoto's hint, Kōji Yamamoto responded with a photograph of Azuma (left), Kuroshitsuji/Toradora! screenwriter Mari Okada (center), and director Yutaka Yamamoto (right). Yutaka Yamamoto (a.k.a. "Yamakan") is best known for directing Kannagi as well as episodes of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Lucky Star.

Science-fiction critic Tsunehiro Uno had already revealed in a May 27 discussion event that Azuma and Okada are working with Yutaka Yamamoto on a television anime series.

Not a director I'd have thought to be Noitamina material. Wonder what on earth they're cooking up...
