So this playlist won't be good for lactose-intolerant people like Atory? :o

I think my reaction was something worse than that.

Cheese is good for the soul.

Unless you're humour intolerant. 8)

Think that one was a bit too Roquefort. Some Provolone, Cheddar, Parmesan, Mozarella - that's choice.

No, I think that one was Gorganzola. Dolce Gorganzola. I like Dolce Gorganzola. 8)

The mozzarella on the pizza I had tonight was good. I don't trust cheese with mould so Gorgonzola and me don't mix.

My cat also likes Gorgonzola (the Dolce variety). It is always amusing to watch her confused, mildly horrified expression every time I offer her some and she eats it, then she gets pushy for more of the mouldy fromage, straight away. After this, plain old processed cheese slices aren't good enough for her. Trust me to have a cheese snob for a cat! 8)

Piccante Gorgonzola can be a bit much, though. Dolce, as the name implies (if you know Italian), is sweet. Piccante, the original form of Gorgonzola, can be a bit like eating cheese containing nail polish remover or wood varnish. I've also eaten Roquefort (basically a French version of Gorgonzola), Stilton (basically a British version of Gorgonzola and Roquefort.... starting to notice a pattern, here), Epoisse (a smelly, orange-mould encrusted soft, runny cheese), Parmagiano Reggiano (original form of Parmesan, but less smelly), Queso Manchego (Spanish cheese similar to a matured Cheddar), Tilsit, Limberger, Wensleydale (very light, white-coloured cheese made famous by Wallace and Gromit) and proper, mouldy, cloth-wrapped Cheddar. But my favourite is Smoked Applewood. Best damn thing to go with a glass of Port or Sherry.

Eating mouldy cheese builds up the immune system. Then you can eat anything. Just look at me. Haven't exactly failed to stomach a lot, have I? 8)

This post is not very Atory friendly. Sorry.

Boccocini is also nice. Goes very well as a light lunch/snack cheese with tomato.

Fetta cheese is easily my fave though. Insanely good.

For Atory-friendliness, a cheese platter is always supposed to have fruit as well. He can't be allergic to fruit as well and there's got to be at least one fruit he likes.

When I get around to making the costume... I will be a shinigami...

Though after looking at the way AVCon is going I think I'll save that for when I go to an interstate convention.

Not many, considering they've failed to sell all 20 of them in just over a month. 8)

I recall Hamish saying that he'd invested in a gold pass.

Yeah, pretty much everything you get at AVCon has the distinct air of QUALITY. 8)
And almost everyone here is jealous. 8)
