by Ryan White » Wed Nov 07, 2007 3:23 am

Just to annoy Greg I'll post the playlist before he has a chance.

Here it is:
    Claymore 16
    Nodame Cantabile 6
    Soukou no Strain 2
    Hayate no Gotoku 11
    Seirei no Moribito 2

    Death Note 30
    Pumpkin Scissors 22

If anyone wants items shuffled let us know and we'll see what we can do.

Don't you ever sleep???

Hopefully this week there are more bodies in the room, or else I might have to start making cardboard cut-outs of random people to make the room look full.

Finally, I get a custom title, yay!!! (I feel special)

I was wondering about that. What happened to everybody? Good to know my guess at the numbers was pretty accurate (I said 25 at the start, down to 11 and then 8 by the end).

Also, what has to be a new AJAS record for the number of nee-sans attending. I counted 4 (!!) in the room at one stage. 8)

Maybe we should just start issuing socks with bricks inside.

I turned up for a few anime screenings but edible_hat and I decided to leave early, lured by the promises of wine and icecream and whatnot when we get back home. I was the girl chowing down on a whopper junior burger outside during one anime XD Sorry but I wanted my dinner early as I hadn't eaten anything since 11 30ish am.

you're generally not as imposing as ryan. if ryan says he wants something done and attempts to look annoyed/angry, most people seem to not want to mess with him.

@paul: if all else fails, i'll have a copy of it with me and you can sms to find out what's happening, as i should be located in a part of the labs with phone reception

Of course, Ryan has to tell people what they are doing wrong before the veiled threat sinks in. When Jim was doing that job, people didn't have to be told. All it took was Jim staring over them and they sank into their seats in abject terror. 8)

Jim smiled silently when I told him I was writing this. 8)

Jim's got more of a heart than Ryan, he's not as likely to put his words into action. I wonder if I'll end up in Sydney for saying that?

He does have a sort of London-organised-crime look about him.

Yeah and Jim's more of a firm presence, whereas Ryan are more of a firey temperament, and well, I know I can be pretty scary when I'm pissed off aswell hehe. That's why sometimes I have to stand up for Atory because some people doesn't see Atory as a strong person (nothing negative of course, just in comparison to Ryan) because everyone I suppose, have seen how scary Ryan is when he's pissed off... I haven't seen Atory being quite pissed off yet though.

I try damn hard to maintain a level headed presence, most of the time. I always fail, but we all have to have goals in life. 8)

Though I find it easier to achieve this as I get older. Once upon a time I used to be the neurotic, unpredictable panic-attacker one moment and a simmering, brooding blob of resentment the next. Now I have perfected the long and tired sigh of old age. It is sooooo much easier to just not care about anything.... Or, more correctly, the brain cells involved in the process of anxiety have started to die off. There are benefits to getting old.

Alive and well,

Have you heard of the new Xbox 360 game called Heroin Hero? It has no crowds, no challenge nothing at all. All you do is shoot yourself up with Heroin and chase a Pink Dragon in a pretty little forest. Its the true sequel to Guitar Hero.

Coming out on the Xbox 360 soon.

*nod nod* I did a vicous back kick against the padded sheild one training session at old school, and the boy didn't hold it properly, instead he held it over his crotch/middle of his body, and wham, I hit the sheild really hard, which went backwards into his crotch, i turned back to the starting position of the said kick, as it involved a spinning sort of movement, didnt see him standing, looked down and he was on his knees.... Instructor told him off and not me.

I didn't kick my partner there, no, i was about to swat his thigh with my right hand from behind, didnt see him move a bit to the side so it was right on target.... he was like "Don't you want kids?!"lol then last night accidentally kneed him but not hard, because i was trying to stratch my foot which was itchy, and he was sleeping with his leg over my hip.... and the rest was history.

P.S Once I'm black belt, I'm most likely to have to register my fists and/or feet as weapons... from what I heard, all black belts or the majority, has to register their fists etc due to strength and power of say, either a kick or punch, I have a white belt student here at new school whos a very very very strong kicker, just as strong as a blackbelt's so she will have to register once shes a black belt. Oh and Edible Hat did punch me in the nose once btw.

i didnt know u have to register ur feet and fists! o_O that just sounds....i dunno...wrong... my dad was a black belt in karate (hohoho, WAY back when he was in uni...which is like....30 years ago...) and he didnt have to do anything....lols! maybe laws change, or maybe it's different in western countries...

if ur partner woke up coz u kicked him there it must have been really bad....>___<

I know... I never intended to hit him there at all! Yeah the registration does depend on what martial arts organization you're with, what they usually do, at Rhee's we don't get registered, I think at this school that I'm now with, does though, but I will check as Ive one more coloured belt and its three stripes left to go. Maybe the laws has changed, I think it's because the weapons laws here are now more stricter, no knife etc and I think we need permits to have nunchucks, again, I will check.

I think my partner were half asleep, can't remeber if he were half asleep or not, he kept waking me up most of the night! Ok now we're offically going way off thread, so I'll shush for now before Mappy or Ryan goes berserk on my backside....^_^;;;

It's ok, we don't get any fancy hotline when women beat us up, but if we defend our selves, then they have one XD

It always amazes me how severely our playlist threads manage to deviate from the original topic. 8)

the only post that is of importance is number 1....

you can't change this weeks play list, it is already set! You can't post spoilers for the week since that would be bad. Plus you can't comment on this week as it has not happened!

This is going to be one of the longest playlist discussions before we've even had the meeting.

Doing a head count last night:

Through most of the playlist we had between 24 and 28 people in the room. Most left when death note commenced (there were only 10 people left for Pumpkin Scissors).

Should we say that Death Note has, in similar terms, leapt over the very big fish? 8)
