For those of us who were not at the OVA night, here is what we played:

Ichigo Mashimaro OVA 3 (minderjährigen mädchen action...FAIL!!!!)

Brave Story (half-decent movie. Reminded me of "Legend of Zelda")

...and now for this week's entertainment. Contains 2 finals and a vote.

This week's playlist is as follows:

Rozen Maiden Traumend 12 (24) (Final) (Overture OVA 1 next month)
Lucky Star 8

Ouran High School Host Club 26 (Final)

The replacement shows are yet to be finalased, however from the information I have recieved from Ryan, the current replacements wannabes can be found at the main webpage.

It was the first RPG game that I could think of. Besides, if you take out the fact the protagonist talked and not "grunted", there are still quite a few similarities.

Damn it, now I'm really regretting going home early. Little sisters can be so annoying. /khaaaan

That was a pretty damn nice movie. Afro Samurai wasn't as good as Champloo but still quite good in its own right.

'Lemonade....Ice cold.' Classic.

Seen both of them, both are the same no difference at all. Though compared to Champloo, Afro received next to nothing in marketing + with the addition of a Black Man being a Samurai.... No one likes Black Men being heroes bar LA movies they are bad bad ppl and show stay as bad guys.

It just re-affirmed my view that Samuel L Jackson owes Quentin Tarantino a boatload of royalties (for everything he's done since Pulp Fiction. And that includes Star Wars.)
Mel Gibson's remake of The Life of Brian is nowhere near as funny as the original.

There are four autonomic responses, and they all start with F. Fright, fight, flight and making love. -Dr Karl

Meh, Brave Story was brilliant though. Gonzo seems to have finally learnt their elsson after 3-4 years of train wrecks.

Well, it's nice to know that people generally seemed to enjoy the August OVA night. I'll give people notice now that errant behaviour will not be tolerated on the 14th, last thing I want to do on my birthday is babysit people.

How come murder princess reminds me of an action anime, but without the all the action bits in it?
