Playlist - 31st July 2007

by Dhumahn » Wed Jul 25, 2007 2:42 pm

At last, I am well enough to get out of bed and write this (and having a new toy to play with, ie laptop, does help). At least I got the rest of the week off at work.

This week's playlist is as follows:

Rozen Maiden Traumend 11 (23)
Lucky Star 7
Pumpkin Scissors 10
Ouran High School Host Club 25
Death Note 18
Claymore 4
Code Geass 15
Utawarerumono 16

...enjoy!!!!

I thiught that was the case. >< Heal up son. I know the feeling, I'm doing 6 nights a week at work at the moment myself. Very harsh on the body along with 2nd year computing. -_-

Almost at the end of Ouran High School Host Club, now.... I do believe the replacement is likely to be Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (known in its manga form as The Wallflower), as directed by Nabeshin. Yes, he of Excel Saga.

Atory's suggestion of Nodame Cantabile is also a good one, but I don't know if anyone has it all in subbed form, yet.... (And by that I mean good subbed form)

If the series had been further along in its run, Lovely Complex might also have been a choice....

And remember.... There are, at best, 4 episodes of Rozen Maiden left to play.

Edited for people who aren't quite picking things up.... :shades:

I've heard bad things about The Wallflower in its manga form. Is the anime actually an improvement? And why mention Excel Saga, isn't The Wallflower a highly shoujo series anyway? Couldn't get much different from Excel Saga.

Is the subbing of Nodame Cantabile that bad? >< Dammit, I've been looking forward to that series so much!!!!

They seem to be all over the place, depending on which group you're getting the show from.

Meh, forgot all about Nabeshin and it was too early in the morning. ES inspires complete body failure, not exactly memorable material.

Yes, but the quality of the second half seems to be a tad homosexuell.

It's called karma. We bitched so much about AVCon that its technical difficulties afflicted us. Yes, things we've never had to deal with, before. 8)

What was it this year again? I heard Flu + Bronchitis? I must be the only person here who didn't catch anything. Healthy teenage immune system ftw! :D

There was something on the news about an outbreak of something or other that's still contagious 24 hours after the symptoms stop.

according to wikipedia, the cold is only infectious for the first five days and the flu for about the first 10.
i already had it at least 2 weeks before avcon, so it's rather unlikely to have been me

I hope the thing that my mum's co-worker has isn't contagious... the treatment is you can only eat fruit and have to take laxatives 3 times a day. Then again it's apparently caused by eating at McDonalds 4 days a week.

Not that it needs anymore proof ... another example of McD's is more damaging that worth in alleged "food" content .

Imagine , the monies just for the laxatives to get it out ! :!:

That and also eating at KFC 4 days a week. And Hungry Jacks 4 days a week. (for those counting, that leaves -5 days a week to eat real food). I'm told that the effects of eating fast food once or twice a week can be counteracted by eating healthy the rest of the time.

Then I'm safe. ( generally eats junky stuff once or twice a week- and not by choice :( more by money value... I'd love to see more of a healthier range of food for a lower price..)
