I think we can definitely say we wont be playing Code Geass 8.5, given that it's a recap episode with no original content.

Maybe, just maybe they air recap episodes for those people that haven't been watching from the start of the season. Ever think of that possibility?

I had. It's no excuse. If you haven't been watching from the start, you should go watch it from the start. Gatecrashers suck.

Uh huh. That's easy for us to do, but considerably harder to do in Japan. Especially when you consider that the anime is broadcast on television and a dvd version isn't available yet, at about twice the price we pay for dvds in Australia. So how exactly do you propose to deal with people that through circumstances unknown to your company viewers have been unable to view previous episodes and it'll be another couple of months before the dvd is released. Given the sheer number of recap episodes for Code Geass I'd suspect that the broadcast time in Japan has been changed around, but without a Japanese TV guide and a greater ability to read Japanese I'll never know.

There was no broadcast time changing for Code Geass after it started but the TV network did change timetable plan before they put Code Geass on air.

Originally, Code Geass should be on during 6:00~6:30 Saturday evening. However, considered that the plot of Code Geass contains much stuff which too "over" for young viewers(like political innuendo), so Code Geass was put into Thursday midnight time-spot instead.

Someone from the Japanese 2CH forum pointed out 2 reasons for making those recap episodes. Firstly, Audiences didn't realize Code Geass was good, and most of them had not catch up this anime from the begining. On the other hand, in order to ensure the quality of the anime, SUNRISE INC. needs more time to produce some of the episodes which has lots of action scene.
(Both of those two points sound reasonable to me though...)

what's an exam?

we screen:

Rain
Hail
Shine
When exams are on
Public holidays

the only time we don't screen is around the time when the minderjährigen mädchen lover in the red suit (and no this is not talking about bazza in cosplay) decides to fly over head.

Edit: Sources have informed me that the minderjährigen mädchen lover in the red suit may also enjoy shotacon..... that sicko!

For the best results in making the red suit we will require Madman to first purchase a white one and hopefully have a high threshold for pain.
