A good night. Thanks to all the new people who came, seems like you had a good time. Hope that we continue to deliver and that you'll be regular attendees. Your presence and input is highly valued. Welcome to AJAS. :)

And hopefully we won't have issues with the lights...getting dumped into a room THREE HOURS after it was finished...well at least it was decently furnished. But the lights being so poorly wired that they couldn't be switched off...sounds like someone fell behind schedule and rushed it today, especially since two classes that were meant to be in there never rocked up. Says a lot.

Well, we still roll on regardless. We've had much worse happen over the years.

Knowing UniSA I dont think that will be fixed anytime soon........ just like when we complained about how crap both the computers and the out of date the software are in the 3D animation studio is...... We were told that at least there will be new softwares on but nothing been done for 2 years. FFS it is a 3D animation studio and its got shitter pc than the normal computer pools :x

This is a clear case of our needing to check absolutely everything before we proceed. The room setup, as it stands, is a disaster. If it isn't finished by next week, then some time need be spent in the Rat Hole, methinks.

Agreed. Is there anything we can do about the booking? Is PM06 available at all for other meetings this month? Or anything else?

I might swing by the campus on Friday or Monday, check the state of C3-16 and ask security as to whether anything can be done if it needs to come to that.

Apart from the poor lighting I thoroughly enjoyed yesterdays O'week. The music box was awesome!! Kudos to the guys that prepared that it must have been very hard work.

I also bought Trigun:remastered today coz I loved the movie that much :) We should screen more fun anime like that more often.

I'll make sure I'll be outside of c3-16 if we need to move somewhere.

There is a reason why it won the AJAS poll in 2001. :)
And not because it wasn't Arjuna.

I was surprised that he hadn't. It is practically one of the basics for a fan of anime. At least if you're interested in 90's series.

...geez, everyone's shocked by the fact I haven't watched Trigun....then again, I haven't watched Arjuna either...

For the record, it was a case of back when the dvd's first came out, that it didn't show much interest to me, and up until we played the movie last night, it still hadn't rubbed off on me. Having seen the film now, I will have to locate a copy of the series. 8)

I was pretty much the same as Greg till i watched the movie,

Arjuna!!?? DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I saw it on Animax twas a bunch of hullaballoo, High production jibar jabbar but Hullabaloo none-theless.

Oh yeah I also completed Guren Lagann last night Awesome show. Its rare for me to like a mecha show but I now see why it is so popular.

Kiddtic, he didn't bring up Arjuna because it's good.
Although I don’t know about the directions at 4:51.
It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.

Well, young Shoji was pretty serious about ramming all his hippy beliefs down your throats with it.
