Even though it's out doesn't mean I'll play it......besides, wouldn't you want to have something new on?

But I saw Alvin and the Chipmunks 25 years ago...just because they had a gender bend doesn't make it better. :? However I won't speak for Bazza, I'm sure he'd be into that.

P.S. Tonight was the last meeting Brenton was attending, as he will be headed to Canberra. Good luck with your work prospects, mate. And good luck on their local anime club. Had a look at their playlist just now that Simeon linked me...This Wednesday offering is rather chilling...

6:00 - Gigantic Formula

6:30 - Kamen no Maid Guy

7:00 - Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo

7:30 - Asura Cryin

8:00 - Chaos Head

8:30 - Kampfer

 /khaaaan

Although this second helping on Friday is more hopeful...kind of.

5:00pm - Minami-ke: Okawari

5:30pm - Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu

6:00pm - Nyan Koi

6:30pm - To Aru Kagaku no Railgun

7:00pm - Darker Than Black ~Ryuusei no Gemini~

7:30pm - CANAAN

And they have an entrance fee...

Brenton, it is up to you to show Canberra the way!

And I'd like to quickly say kudos for Greg for putting on the best playlist going around in this country. :respect: We are very fortunate.

Most clubs actually charge for admission.....helps with hiring costs, etc, which we don't have.

I think I'll post some playlists from some of the various clubs around the country and see how they compare to ours.

Here we go, however compliling this list was actually harder than first anticipated, since a lot of the anime clubs that were around 2 or 3 years ago no longer exist. However I'll also admit a lot of the remaining clubs play themed nights for each meeting, rather than play series straight through.

These are some of the ones who play straight through:

TUU Anime Society - Tasmania - Fortnightly saturday afternoon screenings

Most recent playlist - April 17th
Ef: A tale of Memories (4eps)
Canaan (3eps)
Umineko (4eps)

Lunacy(La Trobe Uni) - Victoria - weekly screenings during semester weeks only, 3 days a week (Tu/w/Th)

Tuesday - Canaan/Moyashimon
Wednesday - Shakugan no Shana
Thursday - Macross Frontier

Brisbane Anime Society - fortnightly weekend afternoon screenings

Most recent playlist -May 9th
Baka To Test – 1-3
Macross Frontier – 17-20
Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan – 5-8

JAFWA - Perth - fortnightly(ish) screenings

Most recent playlist - 8th May *yeah, it's a long playlist*
5:10pm seirei no Moribito 17
5:35pm Vampire Knight II: Guilty 11
6:00pm Combat Butler Hayate 20
6:25pm Chi’s Sweet Home 87
6:30pm dinner break
Possibly showing something during Dinner Break
7:15pm door prize drawing, and announcements
7:30pm Chi’s Sweet Home 88
7:35pm Valkyria Chronicles 15
8:00pm Fairy Tale 5
8:25pm FullMetal Alchemist II: Brotherhood 24
8:50pm Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi II 14
9:15pm Late Break
9:25pm Soul Eater 47
9:50pm Angel Beat 1
10:15pm Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha 2

Meanwhile, I've trumped some of the rubbish these other clubs are playing by rewatching Crest/Banner of the Stars. :respect:

Space Elf Nodame is pretty hard to beat, yeah.
Although I don’t know about the directions at 4:51.
It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.

Space Goats > Space Elf, Night Elf > Space Elf. And I have backup this time! Space Goat Nodame with a tail! She could play two instruments at once! You know you want it!

And again, Greg knows how to make a playlist that kicks the EFF out of anything else in this country! HAIL! :respect:

PS. WTB CotS.
